Gracious God,
We thank you for this day, for every breath, and for the grace that surrounds us—both seen and unseen. Open our hearts to your Word, renew our minds, and guide us to live with gratitude, love, and purpose. Be present with us now as we worship you.
In Christ’s name we pray. Amen.

Leader: We gather with grateful hearts for the gift of this day, for the gift of one another, and for the grace of God that surrounds us.
People: In every breath and every new beginning, we give thanks to God.
Leader: Some of God’s grace we recognize immediately; some we may never see.
People: But through every moment, God is with us.
Leader: Christ asks us, “Who do you say that I am?”
People: You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God!

Gracious God, we confess that too often we take your gifts for granted. We overlook your grace, hold too tightly to our worries, and miss opportunities to love, serve, forgive, and show compassion. Renew our hearts and minds. Help us recognize each day as a gift and use the lives you have given us to reflect your love to others. Forgive us, restore us, and lead us again in the way of Christ. started, with a commitment to continue singing it until the war ended. Now we sing it for the whole world.
