My Friend,

The Lord has just confirmed to me (Thursday evening) everything that I have been preaching on during the last few Sunday's. I offer that humbly. I always encourage you to be in church, but this time I am personally asking you to MAKE SURE that you are in church on Sunday. Not just you, but EVERY unchurched member of your family. Shake them and wake them, or do whatever you need.......... but get them here. I am going to share some things that will connect the dots that the timing of things going on in our nation is no coincidence and I think that this time you will agree and be convinced yourself.

Joe and I received the same message from the Lord on Tuesday night (and at the exact same time) that the Lord is going to reveal extremely soon to us what He is doing and I believe that this Sunday just might be the beginning of clear revelation. The altar will be kept open for prayer during the entire time we are here.

Bring/invite the broken, hurting and lost. People need to hear that there is hope in this dark time.

Guys, I am so very serious about this. We cannot take a chance on missing what God is doing right now in our country and what He wants to do here.

In closing, I just want to say that this is not some gimmick to get people to begin to attend Here’s Hope. That stuff doesn’t work anyway. There are several pastors in Lake County who for the last several months have felt that a great move of God is coming. Since I live in Madison I will address Madison and can attest that there are at least 3 other pastors who share a like minded vision and hope when it comes to these things.. We are meeting together, rooting for each other and supporting each other’s churches.

As a friend of mine closes out his emails I will borrow his phrase...............

Happy Friday!

My heart is somewhat heavy today for people who are broken and wandering. Many people experiencing fear and uncertainty.

Recently some of you have told me of someone you know that is suddenly searching, knowing that changes need to be made in their life. I believe that Sunday will be a good day to invite them or anyone you know who is broken or searching. God has given me some very clear direction for this weekend and I am stepping out in faith. Service will be very different, but in a very good and sweet way; at least the first half and then the rest is up to Him. Different even for me. The Father wants to show His heart. For that neighbor, or co-worker that you've been talking to and praying for.....................it's time!

Getting used to different is good, especially when it's God doing the different.

Hello Friend! Here is a kind of "you heard it here first" email. I
just confirmed with the events coordinator at Cardinal Woods on Chapel
Road in Madison that Here's Hope will now be visiting Cardinal Woods
on the SECOND THURSDAY of every month to serve ice cream to the
residents and bring a smile to their faces. A few of us used to do
this before covid closed things down. We could end up doing some
other things for the residents in the future as well, but this will at
least be a start.
(If there is someone who doesn't go to church at Here's Hope, but you might be following our church page.....................if this is something you have a heart for just let us know!!!!)

Two things to remember for 2023;
1) Finding ways to activate our faith
2) Getting outside of the church more; doing better at taking the good
news of Jesus into our communities.

Happy Friday!!!! Greetings to you in the name of the Lord Jesus. I almost don't know if I can express what I am truly feeling today about God's goodness. It is there when we are both; either on top of the mountain, or walking in a valley. He just promises to be there. Don't ever forget that. Trust Him.
A few weeks ago I began to say that with last Sunday's baptisms that God was going to move us into a new season, one of which we would begin to see His hand in different ways than we had before. It's already started and Sunday will offer more proof. There are two things needed for service. Prayer intercession/intervention and compassion. Come and see! Invite, invite, invite.

Hear ye; hear ye.............the time for baptism is here! Sunday, Jul;y 10 is going to be so very special. We will baptize immediately following service. If you are planning on being baptized make sure you bring a change of clothes and wear dark clothing especially for when it is your turn. Also, there is still have time to add your name to the list!!! Let's invite some guests, too and have them stay for the fellowship lunch. Joe brought the hot dogs and buns in today.

Just as children go through growth spurts,I believe God is setting us up for a new season of growth, maturity and understanding; and it starts with Sunday. This will bring a much deeper understanding of the Lord and His ways. We will learn that "the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits." (Daniel 11:32)
