The progress continues on the parking lot and we are providing snacks and beverages for the workers. We should have about 2/3 of parking spaces available on Sunday, but if you’re able, please park on the side street or walk/bike to church. Please be careful.

The parking lot construction is paused until Tuesday. We have just about half of the parking lot available for Sunday, the upper lot, adjacent to Mineral Point Road. If you can please park on a side street or walk/bike to church, to save the limited spots for folks with limited mobility, for families with young kids, and for visitors.

Pastors and Elders from most of the 50+ churches in John Knox Presbytery gathered at United Presbyterian Church in Wisconsin Dells on Tuesday. Among other things, the group
—approved a new Commissioned Ruling Elder (CRE) Michellle Yardley for First Presbyterian Church of Baraboo
—affirmed Melissa Schmidt, Katie Barden, and three others to be JKP commissioners at General Assembly in Milwaukee in late June
—learned about redevelopment plans for Dale Heights Presbyterian Church on University Ave.
Pastors Jess, Megan, and Charlie were all in person, and Elders Barb Eikenberry and Brad Brown were present via Zoom. We also heard about an action of the Permanent Judicial Commission about misconduct by a CRE in the presbytery who has subsequently resigned. After a delicious lunch, the pastors stayed on for a six hour boundary training workshop, to help us all be healthy and vibrant in our ministry. We are grateful for the wonderful hospitality from United Presbyterian Church of Wisconsin Dellls, and we’re glad to be together as Gods people in John Knox Presbytery.

Join us tomorrow morning at 9:30am for worship as our children and youth present "The Greatest Hymn on Earth! "🎭🎶 Through music, humor, and heart, they’ll share beloved hymns and remind us how music connects us to God, one another, and our stories of faith. Come support our kids and youth for a joyful morning of worship together!

NOTE: From May 17 to September 6, we will only have one worship service at 9:30am as we move into our summer worship schedule.

Coming soon, to a church you love, a NEW PARKING LOT!

Construction begins Monday, May 18 on this big and overdue project, which is scheduled to be done by early August. We will have use of at least part of the parking lot throughout the project, so we are planning on having in person worship throughout. If possible, please park on side streets or walk/bike to church, to save good spots for seniors, families with young kids, and visitros. One of the three entrances (Mineral Point, Segoe, and Marathon) will always be open. If you come at night, be careful, as two light poles have already been taken down.

Thanks to our Building & Grounds team, our Finance team, and all the generous supporters of this project. We are laying a solid foundation for future generations at Covenant!
