From the Green to the Table! Through our Farmer's Market Donation Tent, we gather and redirect food to several community partners including The Shoreline Soup Kitchens & Pantries, Inc., Christian Community Action, and the Madison Senior Center. This initiative helps increase access to fresh food, make good use of donated resources, reduce food waste, and create impactful opportunities to care for neighbors. Donations in the form of purchases at the Farmer's Market, non-perishables, cash and extra fresh produce from home gardens are welcome. Volunteers will be present on Fridays from 3:00-6:00 to explain where donations go, receive approved food and cash donations, and help connect the generosity of the Madison community with organizations serving our neighbors.
