As I mentioned on Sunday, the funeral service for our beloved Tom Finhert is today, July 2, at 12 noon here at Burke. Come join us as you are able, and keep the family in your prayers today and through the week.

Thomas “Tom” Lloyd Finhert, age 80, passed away on June 24, 2026, at St. Mary’s Hospital. He was born on October 17, 1945, to parents Arne and Lila (Retrum) Finhert of Blanchardville, Wisconsin.

Our beloved Tom Finhert died this morning. Services will be here next week. As soon as plans are finalized, I will let you know.

The memorials for Kaylee Ryan will be this week, beginning on Wednesday, April 29 with a visitation with the family at Gunderson Funeral Home in Monona from 4-7 pm.

Then on Thursday, April 30, a visitation time will be at Burke Lutheran Church from 10-11:30, with a worship service at 11:30 concluding with burial at 12:30. A lunch and fellowship time will follow in Burke's fellowship hall starting around 1:00 PM.

Please keep the family in your prayers this week and going forward.
