Sunday morning worship 6/7! Pastor John encouraged us through the gospel of Matthew and reminded us that "the Lord is good to all, and his compassion is over all He has made." The choir sang and we enjoyed after-worship fellowship!

The Youth had a great time at The Sip Shack on Sunday! Some of these young ladies will be headed off to Camp Red Arrow soon so please join us in prayer for them as they strengthen their relationship with God and each other.

Faithful member, Jim Lamar, has gone home to be with the Lord. A celebration of life will be on Saturday, 6/6, at 2:00pm at Beth Car followed by a reception. Burial will be private.

Members are encouraged to contact Gaye Goodall if able to help with food on Saturday.

Our monthly mission emphasis for May is the Southwest Virginia Partnership. The Mission Team has been working with Jan & Tony Johnson in Nicklesville for many years on many projects! Sunday morning worship 5/24! We remembered those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom on Memorial Day.

Pastor John taught from the gospel of Matthew. "The harvest is plenty but the laborers are few." Lord help us to be more like Jesus and show His compassion to those we meet.
