Movement Church Leading people into freedom through daily encounter with God.

AT MOVEMENT CHURCH, WE ARE COMMITTED TO MOVING YOU INTO A MORE FULFILLING RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD AND WITH OTHERS. FROM NEWBORNS TO TEENAGERS, YOUR CHILDREN ARE CARED FOR AND TAUGHT IN EXCITING ATMOSPHERES BY TRAINED TEACHERS WHO ARE DEDICATED TO THE MISSION OF EMPOWERING THE NEXT GENERATION TO BE STRONGER THAN THE ONES BEFORE. WE DON’T BELIEVE YOU HAVE TO BE AT CHURCH ALL DAY TO ENCOUNTER JESUS, SO WE KEEP OUR SERVICES TO THE POINT, YET LAYER IN AS MUCH AS WE POSSIBLY CAN FOR YOU TO USE MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY IN YOUR REAL LIFE.

God made everyone a builder.

It’s in your DNA. He made us in his image, handed us a job, and said fill the earth and subdue it. So everybody’s building something: a life, a marriage, a family, a bank account.

But building isn’t the problem. Building without God is the problem.

At Babel they built a tower to reach heaven, and it was so small God had to come down to see it. In Christ, he already came down. Access is granted. You can’t out-sin the blood of Christ.

So here’s the question to sit with this week: where have you laid a cornerstone that isn’t Christ? Fear, insecurity, things done to you, things you’ve done. Start with the wrong stone and you get the wrong results.

You don’t have to clean yourself up first. Come in. Bring the baggage. His grace is still sufficient.

Ephesians 2:18–22

Racism, partiality, and pride have no place in the heart of a believer.
God made people with dignity, value, and purpose.
To despise His creation is to despise His craftsmanship.

What does real peace look like?

On Sunday we talked about the difference between peace that lasts and peace that falls apart. Peace built on money, comfort or simply avoiding conflict eventually gives way. Real peace is wholeness, and it has a name: Jesus.

Family, join us in praying for the Gulf Coast as Hurricane Isaias approaches. Pray for protection over families and homes, wisdom for leaders, strength for first responders, and peace for everyone facing this storm.

Isaias means “Yahweh is salvation.” Let that remind us where our hope rests. We are asking God to protect lives and make His presence known throughout every community affected.

Your life wasn't a bad life that needed to be turned good. It was a dead life that needed resurrection.

A dead person can't raise themselves. They can't add anything or earn it. God raised you by grace, for no reason other than that He wanted you.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God." Ephesians 2:8

God blots out transgressions.

The record of wrongs, the shame of the past, the things that once defined us, are erased by the blood of Jesus. What was dead is made alive. What was guilty is declared righteous. What was broken is being made new.

We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works He prepared beforehand. Our lives belong to Him, and His grace gets the final word.
