Revenge, vengeance, payback, bitterness, anger. How to be freed from these powers of darkness. How will God free you? How will He take His vengeance?

My second book in the series is now available for purchase. MORE CHRIST - THE ULTIMATE IN HUMAN EXPERIENCE. Now available on Amazon, where you'll need to type in my name (Steve Hartlaub) in order to find the book, as it doesn't come up by merely typing in the title. Here's what someone in Texas had to say about this book:
"I don’t read books quickly, usually it takes a week or two, but I read your book in three days. A real “page turner” as they say; when I put it down, I couldn’t wait to get back to it.

“More Christ” is spectacular, life-changing and worthy of wide distribution."

Whereas the serpent tricked eve into eating of the fruit - that introduced spiritual ( and physical death ) ... we then have the devil tempting Christ to sin and fail ( but did not ). In Genesis,... God asks Adam/Eve "WHO TOLD YOU that you were NAKED..." - and it refers to not only clothing, but "righteousness" as well. So the concept of clothing repeats throughout the bible. We discover that in the parable of the wedding feast of the king, the clothing is GIVEN out by the king. You do NOT show up at THE wedding feast of the King ( for his son ), with YOUR OWN clothing. You are GIVEN clothing. We then discover that the clothing is called "righteousness". Meaning,.... you do not show up in the presence of the king with your "OWN" righteousness. It is considered nakedness to God. ( nothing ). So THEN... the devil tempts Christ and says "IF THOU BE THE SON OF GOD..." ( several times ). To the point that NOW, TODAY,... WE are also tempted in the same manner. The devil attempts to strip us from our identification with Christ. He attempts to TRICK us into believing that we DONT have "Christ in us". Similar to trying to devour the child ( in revelations 12 ) - he is a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour ( book of Peter ). And so he tries to devour that Christ-in-Us ( metaphorically speaking ). Tries to TRICK you into thinking that you are NOT wearing the Righteousness of God ( having Christ in you ). And this is also the "Breastplate of Righteousness" armor that GOD HAS ALREADY GIVEN OUT. Our job is to WEAR it ( put it on and believe it - in our minds ) - and NOT let the devil trick us into being 'naked' so to speak. Remember the end of luke and the beginning of acts ( those books connect ).

Luke 24:49
And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be ENDUED (clothed) with power from on high.

Acts 1:8
But ye shall receive (demonstrate/show) power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

This is a much larger topic than i have time to post. But I'll share another one with you.

Revelation 2:17
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a WHITE STONE, and in the stone a NEW NAME written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

In biblical times,... if a man had committed a sin ( terrible sin )... and was CLEARED of that sin ( it was paid for etc ),... he would be given a white stone that was set outside his tent. ( I forgot what was written on the stone ) - but essentially it would mean that he is no longer connected with that sin. It means he has been cleared of guilt.

So this verse in Revelations meant something to those people in the 1st century. They KNEW what that meant. And for us, the Rock is "Christ" himself. And we are cleared of guilt. No one can connect us to that sin any more.

If a law be broken but a soul be saved, then good is done. But if a law is kept/observed & a soul perish, is any good done? Christ healing on the SABBATH of the Jews validates doing good over observing a Law. ... Israel Terna Daniel

"They are against ANY form of grace, if it means a law is broken." I suppose you know people whom the above describes. If so, as long as you associate with their thinking, you will NEVER arrive at the "final solution" of Jesus Christ.

Did God Allow It?

The predominant theology of Christians today when faced with life changing circumstances is that “God allowed it.” After all, “God is in control” and “in everything there is a purpose.” Sadly, none of this is accurate and has left the Body of Christ paralyzed, misrepresenting God to others, and cooperating with the work of the enemy.

Today we are hearing that God “allowed” a virus to attack the world for some mysterious reason. Some say that the virus is meant to bring men to repentance. This begs the question, why does it say that Jesus sent the church into the world with the Good News? Why doesn’t it say that He sent viruses into the world?

Let’s look at the word “allow.” “Give (someone) permission to do something.” When some say that God allowed the virus, they are saying that God gave permission for the virus to do its damage by killing thousands around the world. God has become the perpetrator or an accessory to mass killing. If a man was behind the genocide of tens of thousands, he would be considered a criminal worthy of imprisonment or death. But if its God, its OK.

Is God “allowing” (giving permission) to abortion, s*x trafficking, cancer, slavery, hurricanes, child abuse, and every other horrible thing that we see in the earth? No.

Go back to the Garden of Eden. God “allowed” Adam and Eve to eat of every tree of the Garden. He did NOT allow them to eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. He forbade them from eating from that tree. That tree was the revealer of man’s heart. Man chose the words of a serpent over the instructions of God. God didn’t allow evil in the earth. Adam did. God had given the earth to man and had to honor man’s choices. Evil is not from God. Evil came from Adam who chose to be independent from God.

God has not allowed abortion, s*x trafficking, cancer, slavery, hurricanes, child abuse, and every other horrible thing. In fact, He sent Jesus to redeem us from evil and equip us to overcome it. What God has allowed is for us to be born again, carry His Name, be filled with His Spirit, walk in His covenant, use His promises, His gifts, and the keys to His Kingdom. We have His authority. We can bring healing to the sick, freedom to the oppressed, peace to the storms of life, and we can share a message of life from the dead. God has given us His permission.

The evil in the earth is not His will. He is not using it for His glory. He wants to use His children for His glory, but most are attributing evil to Him and slandering His Name.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. (James 1:17) ... Barry Bennett

Sickness is an Enemy

And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick. (Mt. 14:14)

God does not afflict His children with sickness. If a natural father were to do such a thing he would be arrested for child abuse and thrown in jail. For some reason there are those who think that God makes His children sick, or allows them to be sick and it should be called a blessing. No.

God's will and God's heart can be seen in Jesus who healed all who came to Him. There is no account of Jesus ever making someone sick in the New Testament “for His glory.” There is no account of Jesus ever leaving someone sick to teach them something. There is no account of Jesus ever refusing to heal someone who came to Him. Jesus came to destroy the works of the enemy (1 Jn. 3:8) and went about healing all who were oppressed of the devil for God was with Him (Acts 10:38).

Jesus never received glory from sickness, only from healing. Every sickness is an opportunity for healing to bring glory to God.

God does not need sickness to perfect His children. He placed all sickness on Jesus. It would be unjust for Him to place it on you. God perfects us through His Word and the Spirit. If sickness and loss are your teachers, you’re in the wrong kingdom! He no more uses sickness to perfect us than He would use sin. He went to the cross to deliver us from both sin and sickness.

Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases. (Psalm 103:2-3) ... Barry Bennett

Most people read the Bible from the perspective of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Very few read it from the revelation of the tree of Life. The tree you’ve chosen will be obvious in how you judge God, judge others and judge yourself. ... Barry Bennett
