From Rev. Nina Pryor and the S.S. Morris Community A.M.E. Church family, we extend our sincere condolences on the passing of Michael Johnson, President and CEO of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Dane County.

His presence in the community was larger than life. Michael stood on business as he advocated, influenced, inspired, and impacted countless lives. He challenged systems to change and encouraged others to speak truth, pursue justice, and work collectively for the betterment of our community. Through his visionary leadership and his work with the Boys & Girls Club, he helped expand its mission and broaden its impact, creating greater opportunities and brighter futures for countless young people. His unwavering commitment to the people and causes he cared about left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

We give thanks for his life, his service, and the legacy he leaves behind. He will be deeply missed, but his influence and the seeds he planted will continue to bear fruit for generations to come.

May God grant comfort, strength, and peace to his beautiful family, friends, and all who mourn this tremendous loss.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23

And God said, ‘I have set My rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.’” — Genesis 9:13

Rainy days can feel heavy, uncertain, and long, but even God uses storms to water the ground for new growth. Just as rainbows appear after the rain, God’s promises still shine after seasons of pain, waiting, and tears. Hold on through the storm knowing that joy is not canceled — it is coming. Sometimes the rain is preparing us to appreciate the beauty of the promise.

May every rainy day remind you that God is faithful, His promises are sure, and your rainbow season is on the horizon.
