One door closes and another door opens:

We are here to celebrate the life of Grace Presbyterian Church in Madison Florida, to give thanks to God for the gifts that have come to us and to others through this ministry, to acknowledge our sadness at the close of this ministry, and to affirm again our faith in Jesus Christ. Let us be grateful for God’s gifts, honest about our sorrow, and open in our love, trusting in Jesus Christ, the only head of the church.

The last service on December 31st 2023 marked a passage for this congregation. Our ministry has come to a close; something new is about to be born. God is calling the members of this congregation to a new ministry. Congregations are formed and congregations are disbanded, but the Lord our God reigns forever.
Amen and Amen!

Advent is a time of celebration and anticipation of Christ’s birth. Yet, it is more than that. It's only in the shadow of Advent that the miracle of Christmas can be fully understood and appreciated; and it is only in the light of Christmas that the Christian life makes any sense. Sunday, we begin our journey into Advent with "The Nobody King." Join us!

Few like change. No one likes uncertainty. Uncertainty may be one of the worst feelings we can experience, particularly if it involves something we care about deeply. The Apostle John addresses these emotions head-on with a group of Christians who were plagued by uncertainty and doubt. We consider it Sunday with "Held in His Grip." Join us!

The story of Joseph is filled with so many life lessons. One lesson is about the importance of noticing people - engaging people, asking questions. Noticing a person can make a difference in your life and their life and the lives of others. We consider it tonight at our midweek meal and study. Join us!

God’s grace is far more stubborn than his people’s sin and stupidity. How else do we explain that Israel is still around by the end of Judges? His grace is the only explanation for Israel not crumbling into the archives of human history. Israel was stubborn and stiff-necked, but God would not abandon them. And so it is for all all His people. Sunday, we wrap up our time in Judges with "God's Stubborn Grace." Join us!

There are times when we might be tempted to abandon prayer - to throw up our hands and walk away. If you can relate to that sentiment, tonight we will consider a very simple way to pray. And then we'll pray. Hope you'll join us.

The most famous part of Samson's life concerns his disastrous affair with Delilah. Samson always loved a good time. And with Delilah, Samson meets his match. Men sometimes make the same mistake over and over again. These weaknesses – or “besetting sins” – nag a man, keeping him from reaching his full potential. Such was the tragedy of Yahweh’s incredibly gifted – yet flawed – servant, Samson. Sunday we consider it. Join us!

November 2: Midweek Meal & Study

As we approach the end of our survey of the book of Revelation, we will reflect on major themes of John’s conclusion to this book and major themes of Revelation as a whole. Dr. Godfrey powerfully paraphrases this book’s final message to its readers: “God is more glorious than you think. Life is not what you see. Life is not even what you think. It’s always better. God is more glorious. Sin is more serious. Evil is more powerful, suffering is greater, time is shorter, and Jesus is stronger.” Join us!

This Sunday, many Protestant churches will commemorate the importance of the Protestant Reformation which shook the world 5 centuries ago. Sadly, most will not, and this is to our detriment. One thing the evangelical church needs to grasp perhaps more than ever before is the heart of the Reformation. It was supremely relevant in the 16th and 17th-centuries and it remains so today. We consider Sunday. Join us!
