This week, Rev. Brian Johnston preached on Matthew 9:35-10:8. He explained that Jesus cares for us deeply in all stages of life. His grace reaches out to everyone, and he calls his followers to do the same.

The Sanctuary Choir will lead worship on Sunday, June 28 with this year’s patriotic musical, “Let Freedom Ring!”

We invite you to join us for this special service as we honor those who have served or are currently serving in our armed forces. Military personnel are especially encouraged to attend and will be recognized.

We are also updating our St. Matthew’s UMC list of service members. If you know someone who should be included, please contact the church office at 601-856-9581 with their name, branch of service, and conflict (if available).

We hope you’ll join us for this meaningful time of worship and remembrance.

In this letter to Corinth, Paul reminds us that not only is it ok to admit we are not ok, but that there is strength in asking for help.
