“The slave of the slaves forever.”

Wednesday, September 9th, we celebrate the Feast of Saint Peter Claver!

In the 1600s, Cartagena, Colombia was the brutal hub of the transatlantic slave trade. While human beings were treated as merchandise and discarded to die in filth, Father Peter Claver saw them as beloved children of God with infinite worth.

For 40 years, he boarded the dark, disease-ridden holds of incoming slave ships carrying food, medicine, and the love of Christ—cleaning their sores, clothing them, and baptizing over 300,000 enslaved souls. He was mocked, criticized, and isolated by high society, but he never stopped serving.

Saint Peter Claver challenges all of us: do we have eyes to see and love the people the world discards?

Saint Peter Claver, pray for us!

“Not all of us can do great things, but we can do small things with great love.”

September 5th we celebrate the Feast of Saint Teresa of Calcutta (Mother Teresa)!

Armed with radical humility and a simple blue-and-white sari, Mother Teresa stepped into the poorest slums of Kolkata to serve the “poorest of the poor.” She saw the face of Christ in the abandoned, the sick, and the dying, reminding the entire world of the infinite dignity of every single human life.

You don’t need a huge platform to make an impact. Start with the person right in front of you today.

“Lord, make me chaste... but not yet.”

Before he was a Bishop and Doctor of the Church, Saint Augustine was running as fast as he could in the opposite direction of God.
Yet with all his success and worldly pleasures, he felt completely empty inside. It wasn’t until a quiet moment in a garden in Milan that he surrendered his brokenness to God.

That radical surrender transformed a runaway rebel into one of the most brilliant philosophers and theologians in human history.

Augustine proves that no past is too messy and no person is too far gone for God’s grace.

“It is impossible that the son of so many tears should perish.”

Today we celebrate the Feast of Saint Monica! For 17 years, she prayed tirelessly for her brilliant, rebellious son Augustine until he finally surrendered his life to Christ.

If you have a child, spouse, or friend who is far from God right now, do not lose heart. Keep praying, keep hoping, and trust that God hears every whisper.

Saint Monica, pray for our us!

A Pope who grew up walking miles barefoot to school so he wouldn’t wear out his shoes? Meet Saint Pope Pius X.

When he was elected Pope in 1903, most Catholics only received Holy Communion once or twice a year. Pius X changed that by lowering the age of First Communion to 7 years old, and urging the faithful to receive Jesus in the Eucharist daily.

Despite leading the universal Church, he lived with radical simplicity, gave everything he had to the poor, and stood firm to protect the truths of the faith under his motto: “To restore all things in Christ.”

Today, August 21st, is his Feast Day! St. Pius X reminds us that our greatest strength is always found in the Eucharist.

The Theology of the Body Certificate is back for year 3! Hear from some of our past students about the most important lessons they took away from the certificate and how they can implement them in daily life.

This certificate is for anyone who is having a hard time navigating the questions and the current climate of human identity and sexuality. The topics of sexual orientation, identity, and love boil down to three fundamental questions written on every human heart: who am I, what was I made for, and where am I going?

Our first class is on September 1, so make sure to sign up today!

Treat the people around you like treasure.

When Roman officials demanded he surrender all the Church’s gold and wealth, St. Lawrence didn’t bring them coins. He gathered the poor, sick, blind, and homeless of Rome, presenting them as the Church’s true treasure.

Furious, they sentenced him to a gridiron. But his unshakeable faith and famous wit turned ex*****on into a testimony that inspired countless Romans to convert.

Happy Feast Day of Saint Lawrence! His life is a powerful reminder of where real wealth lies.

He sold his most prized handwritten manuscripts to feed starving people during a famine, leaving behind a legacy of radical generosity and joyful preaching.

Saint Dominic founded the Order of Preachers to bring clarity, truth, and love back to a culture in chaos. Armed with deep prayer, a fiery devotion to the Rosary, and barefoot joy, he showed the world how to stand firm in faith without losing compassion.

How do you strive to balance truth and love in your daily conversations? Drop a comment below!

Save this reel to pray for his intercession later:

“Saint Dominic, teach us to love the truth and share it with joy and compassion. Give us a fiery love for the Rosary and help us to speak always either to God or about God. Amen.”

A cannonball shattered his leg… and completely changed the course of history.

Today, July 31st, we celebrate the Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola! Before he was the founder of the Jesuits or the author of the Spiritual Exercises, he was a worldly Spanish soldier obsessed with glory and status. But while recovering from a devastating battlefield injury, God met him at his rock-bottom moment and showed him a completely different path.

If you’re trying to discern your next step in life or figure out where God is calling you, ask St. Ignatius for his intercession today!

St. Ignatius of Loyola, pray for us!

When God seems silent, He’s often preparing a miracle.

This Sunday, July 26th, we celebrate the Feast of Saints Joachim and Anne, the parents of the Virgin Mary and the earthly grandparents of Jesus! For decades, they faced the deep heartbreak of infertility and the public shame that came with it in ancient Israel. Yet, they never let their grief turn into bitterness.

If you are waiting on an unanswered prayer or navigating tough family dynamics right now, let this holy couple be your reminder to trust in God’s perfect timing.

Saints Joachim and Anne, pray for us and protect our families!
