Number of families served: 217 (includes 16 first time families)

Number of weekend food sacks provided to the Madison Junior High and Elementary schools: 735 (2 weeks) and 50 during the summer for a total of 785.

Number of volunteer hours: 673

If you would like to financially support the weekend back sack project, you may send checks payable to the House of Hope and designated for the back sack project to 100 E Second Street, Suite H, Madison, IN 47250. Any amount WILL make a difference since all the non-perishable food items are purchased at retail and not donated.

Today, the House of Hope was blessed to receive generous portions of both bread and potatoes from North Madison Christian Church following their monthly food giveaway. Thank you, NMCC, for your continued support of the pantry!

Kent Christian Church hosted their first Wheels of Hope Car Show today, raising $680 for the House of Hope! Thank you, KCC for your continued support!

The House of Hope was blessed today by one of our partner churches, who shared the overflow from their monthly food giveaway. Together, we can reach more people, and make a greater impact than we ever could alone. Thanks, NMCC!

At the recent 2026 Jefferson County 4-H livestock auction, buyers graciously donated 62 animals (42 swine, 14 lambs, 4 goats and 2 steers) to the Jefferson County House of Hope. The pantry is grateful and humbled by their generosity!

The House of Hope would also like to thank the Jefferson County 4-H Fair Board for partnering with the pantry again this year. This partnership allows the pantry to maintain a supply of frozen meat that will help meet the needs of Jefferson County families dealing with food insecurity during the coming months.

DON'T FORGET - TODAY is your chance to support local 4-Hers AND the Jefferson County House of Hope at the Jefferson County 4-H Fair Livestock Auction! We hope individuals and businesses will join us at 1pm in the show arena to bid on a steer or hog to donate to the House of Hope food pantry. In the last 9 years, 386 animals have been donated! That number has provided many meals for those facing food insecurity! We look forward to seeing you this afternoon at the 4-H Fairgrounds!
