Hungry for some midweek encouragement?

We’ve been sharing practical faith tools on the blog section of our website—and it’s all designed to help you walk with Jesus in the real world, not just on Sundays.

If you’ve been wanting to grow deeper instead of just “going through the motions," take a few minutes to read our latest posts.

Set aside one scroll through social media and trade it for something that will actually strengthen your heart and your faith.

Start reading here: https://madisonchurchtn.org/2026/06/09/are-we-hacking-our-christianity/

06/08/2026

Have we been trying to *hack* our Christianity?

Saying the right words…showing up at the right times…playing the part…while never really being transformed?

Stop looking for spiritual shortcuts and start actually growing up in Christ. No more ‘Christian hacking.’ No more using faith for our own image or comfort.

God hasn’t called us to game the system. He’s called us to be changed.

Watch this and ask: am I being *formed*…or just performing?

Join us at 9AM this coming Sunday at the Madison Church of Christ. Imperfect people welcome...

"But God..."

Carlene says: "As I watched Artemis rise into the heavens and make its journey home, I couldn’t help but reflect on life itself. From a distance, everything comes into clearer focus. So I stepped back—30,000 miles in my imagination—and looked at my life anew. And what I saw was unmistakable:
God’s hand in every chapter… protecting, guiding, and even pushing me when I needed it most. After 83 years, my prayer hasn’t changed—Lord, use me every day until I see You face to face." Here is Carlene's story on this Stories of Amazing Grace.

“Come join me and die.”

That was the jarring line at the heart of this past Sunday's teaching—not because Jesus wants to ruin our lives, but because following Him means entering a real battle for souls, relationships, and faithfulness. We walked through 1 Peter 5 and talked about:

What biblical shepherds/elders are really called to be.
Why all of us (young and old) are called to humility and submission.
How Satan is actively at war against God’s people.
Why strong, Christ‑shaped relationships in the church matter so much in an unreliable world.

If you missed Sunday, or just want to sit with the text a little longer, check out this blog post on Madison's website. Take a minute to read it and share it with someone who could use some encouragement.

https://madisonchurchtn.org/2026/06/02/the-battle-were-in/

And if you’re not connected to a church family right now, consider this your invitation. We’d be honored to have you with us this Sunday at Madison Church of Christ—join us as we worship, open God’s word, and learn how to follow Jesus together in the middle of a broken world.

You’re welcome to come as you are.
If you’re looking for truth, community, and hope, there’s a place for you here.

What if the biggest fights in your life… are aimed at the wrong target? We swing at people while the real enemy quietly wins—through lies, fear, and the sin crouching at our door. Maybe it’s time to change who (and what) we’re fighting.
