Alumni Organization approved at Queen of Peace!!!

The 60th Anniversary celebration fueled new interest for an alumni effort, and on June 23, 2010, the Pastoral Council unanimously approved the formation of the new Queen of Peace Alumni Organization (QPAO).

Did You Know: In 1951, school enrollment was already up to 350 students

Did You Know: Enrollment in 1949-1950, the first school year at Our Lady Queen of Peace School was 180. The first graduating class - 1950 consisted of 19 children

Did You Know: The cornerstone for the original school building was laid on December 11, 1948, and in spring of 1949 Mother Mary Evelyn and the Council of Sisters of Third Order of St. Dominic, Sinsinawa agreed to staff our new school with Dominican Sisters beginning with the fall term of 1949.
