One Direction Community-ODC

A Forged Network church plant that is Loving Jesus and It's neighbors in Madison, Alabama. Rev (Mk. 12:29-13; Mt, 28:18-20)

ONE: One body of many diverse members with diverse gifts, for building up and strengthening that body (1 Corinthians 12:12-14, Ephesians 4:11-12). ONE DIRECTION: All called to obediently follow Jesus as Lord, as his disciples, in imitation of him in the One Direction that leads to the cross. (Luke 14:27, Philippians 2:5-11)

sionally incarnated, in context, in Community, sent into our neighborhoods and unto the nations. (Acts 2:42-47, Matthew 28:18-20)

One Direction Community (ODC) is a radical community of disciples, centered on the Lordship of Jesus Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit, that is organized and focused with a missional purpose to reach out and make disciples in Madison and the surrounding areas. We are relationally reaching out to those society would label “un-churched” by living out Jesus’ commandments to Love God, Love our Neighbor, and Make Disciples.

Good morning!
I was in a conversation in the Lowes break room with a few of the summer seasonal workers. They were sharing the challenges they face succeeding in life. I asked them, "Not what you desire to do, but What do you desire to become in life?" They looked at me and each other and were silent, not knowing how to respond.

This morning I searched scriptures, and prayed over what we desire to become.
