This is what it looks like to be the Church.

Not just attending.
Not just watching.
Not just sitting in a seat.

Living on mission. Loving people. Making a difference.

Sunday recap 🤍⛪️

We kicked off our new series, ALTAR-ed, and what a beautiful Sunday it was...Worship, the Word, sweet fellowship, and a few of our favorite traditions along the way.

From our Red Back Hymnal sing-along 🎶 to Lunch on the Grounds 🍽️, it was a day full of faith, family, and memories made together.

Before the first song is sung… before the first welcome is given… there are people already here praying, preparing, practicing, serving, and getting everything ready.

These are some of my favorite Sunday morning moments — the moments before the service even starts.

Because worship doesn’t begin at 11:00… worship begins with hearts that have already decided, “It’s time to meet with God!” 🙌

🔥 Let the fire on the altar never burn out!

Tomorrow, we’re beginning a brand-new series: ALTARed — Where Sacrifice Meets Fire.

Beginning in 1 Kings 18, we’ll discover what it means to “Repair the Altar.” This is going to be a life-altar-ing series you won’t want to miss!

After our main service, our Aged to Perfection group will enjoy lunch together, followed by a Red-Back Hymnal Sing-Along in the sanctuary—straight from the books, not the screen!

If you plan to attend the lunch, please bring a covered dish or dessert.

We can’t wait to worship with you tomorrow at Madison Church of God!
