Dear Christian friend,
Each comment we say, each thought, each decision, and our plans for today and future days, I commit in service to my Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I know that on occasions I will become distracted from my God’s purposes by those of my flesh.
I know that this life will tempt me and that I will violate my promises to God, but praise the Lord, there is a way home.
May your day be blessed in the Lord as you find encouragement from a precious relationship with Christ.
We all send our love to you.

Fidelity
Each person in this life has been given free will to choose.
There are factors that guide our planning in life.
We quickly understand daily mundane decisions. I am hungry, cold, sleepy, and we respond to those needs.
We all need affirmation for thoughts, future plans, etc. If our passions for something are strong in us, we gravitate to people who agree.
This can be good or could be harmful.
The caution for us all is against gathering advisors who always tell us what affirms our plans.
A true friend will help us see the negative results and the positive.
Our Saviour Jesus Christ is a true friend.
He tells us truth, He cautions us to choose wisely, He warns us of danger possible and blessings possible if we choose one path or another.
Let God be your final word, and our spirits with be protected, and thus the results, both daily, and future; including after we cease to exist as humans.
So, dear friends, study God’s advice against what you, or I, or anyone else may advise.
Prove All Things, that they be of God.
In Christian love,
Joe

Obey the truth
If we were to conduct a survey, we would understand that there are many definitions of what a single individual might define as truth. Some refer to their belief as ‘my truth’.
While such is reality, and not shocking, each of should realize that our personal perceptions regarding God’s will can be defined differently due to levels of learning, prejudices, and crowd influences, etc.
For we who have a covenant agreement with God, we should prove every viewpoint by searching the scriptures to see and know that they God’s truths.
If we can see from self examination that we will never be all knowing from our own mental abilities, we can compare ourselves with God’s definition of right and wrong, good vs evil, perfection vs imperfection and hopefully see our great need to continually seek God’s will from the Holy Scriptures; that we may mature and become more pleasing to our Lord.
Hopefully we are all maturing in the Lord, that we may please His design.
God bless in your meditation

Would you rather ride in a clean vehicle or a dirty one?
Would you rather eat with those who are friendly, and considerate; rather than stingy and insulting?
Would you rather travel with someone who is kind and caring, rather than grumpy, hateful, and selfish?
If you find yourself hungry, thirsty for comfort, peace, and hope, would we not all choose our companions who are hospitable?
For your consideration, these positive choices are very like our decisions when we choose Jesus the Christ and to choose His followers to travel with in this troublesome world, on our journey to Heaven.

A question for the readers:
Read the 1st part of Genesis chapter 1, and tell me if you agree with the following: God said for there to be light prior to, before His creation of the sun?

10/27/2022

Where would you be, if you knew that Jesus is coming today?
What would we not be saying?
Would you and I be in constant prayers and Godly reflection?
Would I be confident of being caught up, to forever be with the Lord?
Friends, we really should be committed to be ready to hear the Saviour’s voice!
Today is the day of opportunity.
We each will choose whom we will serve.
May ours be a godly one.

How long will I live in my current physical body?
I have been here 68 years, and suffered many physical things.
Of course, each day I go on with an assumption that I will be alive at the end of the day, and make plans forward into the future.
Reality! I have no promise of eternity in my fleshly existence. I have no assurance that another fleshly breath will come. However we physically move on, waiting for the coming of the Lord, or the calling of the Lord to the eternity I have freely chosen.
Just think…
May you and I both be seriously minded about our future.
Where will we be in eternity?
After my body dies, will I be with the rich man, or will I be with Lazarus?
Oh, if we all were to have our minds more on our God and Saviour, what a change would happen in our lives!
God blessings on your reading of the Holy Scriptures and your prayers and meditation on this day of the Lord, and the time we have.

Reading your Bible

So many today complain that the scriptures of God’s Word is too difficult to understand.
I suppose that if we had no knowledge of its authority or how it is arranged or the contextual meaning or the timelines, it would not be as easy, as if we had a grasp of these basics.
However, as with any reading, or study of an issue, or topic in life, the first reading may not give me the answers.
Years ago, I decided to buy one of those stand up tool boxes, the kind with multiple drawers, lock, and wheels to try to organize my tools.
When I received the box, it was all pieces, with separate bags of screws, and a poorly written instruction paper.
Never having one of these, I had to depend totally on the directions.
As memory serves, I put it together and took it apart 4 times over several days, until all the pieces fit.
It was very frustrating, but I had a desire, and I had an investment in that red tool box.
If we could parallel this story with our spiritual instructions in the Bible, we can see that no one understands all of the directions correctly on the first try.
I encourage each of my readers to assume that comprehension of God’s instructions depends upon several factors.
Make sure the directions you are looking at are for the situation you are researching.
It may take a little longer to grow in your faith and commitment to God than you first thought.
You, like me, will make mistakes and have spiritual realignment as you continue your lifelong commitment to serve God.
In the future you should be able to see how much more you have become like Christ than at the beginning.
May God grant us all increased wisdom and understanding of the journey in front of us.

Concern for others
From the first book of the KJV Bible, we can tell that our Father God cared for mankind, and all His creation.
God is all about having a relationship with each of us, and each everything that exists.
Here in this beautiful place that I live in, and in all of the creation, we see so much beauty.
As we pause to consider creatures, great and small, I know my creator is awesome.
Look!
From the gorgeous fall colors, the white caps on our rushing streams, from the thunder and lightning and wind, from the small bugs to the black bear, I know I see the hand of God.

When I see the newborn child, kitten, or hummingbird, I realize with humility and moistness around the corners of eyes that all of us depend upon our Father!
Readers, pause just for this moment in humility, and know how great a God we all have, and regardless of the lives we have lived, Daddy is waiting for us to come home.

The hurricane is upon Florida.
Inland flooding and wind damage.
We don’t know the final cost yet.
Please, you who have the ear of God, earnestly pray.
There is a lot of insecurity, fear, worry; so we pray for our spiritual families there God’s peace and protection, even in the storms.
