Today, the Church celebrates Our Lady of Mount Carmel, a title honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary as patroness and mother of the Carmelite Order.
⁣
For centuries, Catholics have turned to Our Lady of Mount Carmel seeking her intercession, protection and guidance. Many also wear the Brown Scapular as a sign of their devotion to Mary and their desire to follow her Son more closely.
⁣
As we celebrate this feast day, may we entrust ourselves to Mary's loving care and strive, like her, to say "yes" to God's will each day.
⁣
Our Lady of Mount Carmel, pray for us.

Today, the Church celebrates St. Henry, an 11th-century emperor remembered not for his power, but for his deep faith and commitment to serving God.
⁣
St. Henry used his position of leadership to support the Church, care for the poor and promote peace and justice. Together with his wife, St. Cunigunde, he lived a life of holiness, generosity and service.
⁣
His example reminds us that whatever our vocation or responsibilities, we are all called to use our gifts and influence to serve others and build God's kingdom.
⁣
St. Henry, pray for us.
