Thought for today...

How many of us have said this ...If only I were out of school. If only I was 21. If only I had that job. If only I were married. If only I could retire. If only . . . And one day we wake up and wonder where has time gone.

Reality...our life is only a v***r that appears for little while and then it's gone (James 4:14).

We should never get so wrapped up with the things of this world that we lose focus on the ones we love. And most important where we will spend eternity.

Jesus said..."For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" So invite Christ into your heart today and redeem the time you have remaining here on earth.

Have a blessed day!

Thought for today...

“ There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” (Proverbs 14:12)

This verse gives us a stern warning about trusting our own human compass. The heart is easily deceived, and sometimes those shortcuts that seem so appealing are actually dead ends or dangerous drop-offs. Just because a crowd is walking down a path or because the road looks smooth doesn't mean it's the highway the Lord intended for you to take.

When we rely on our own worldly reasoning, we can easily wander off course. True wisdom isn't about following your own heart; it's about checking your road map—the Word of God—and making sure your steps line up with His teachings.

Jesus said that He is the Way the Truth and Life (John 14:6), not one of the ways or the best way, He’s the “Only Way” to Heaven.

Thought for today...

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”- Romans 8:28

Now, look close: this verse doesn't say every single thing that happens to us is good. Sin, pain, and heartbreak are flat-out rotten. But it promises that God is so powerful, He can take every bit of that mess and blend it into something wonderful for His glory and your growth. He doesn't waste a single tear, and He is always working behind the scenes. When you can’t trace His hand, you can always trust His heart.

What heavy burden do you need to hand over to the Lord today?

Thought for today...

Are you prepared to serve Christ, no matter the cost??

In the Bible we read... They were 1,500 miles from home. Who would know? Who would care?

But they knew God was watching, and as young men they dedicated and committed themselves totally to God.

These young men were Meshach, Shadrach and Abednego. They refused to break God’s law are to bow down before King Nebuchadnezzar who had had become powerful and egotistical (Daniel chapter 3).

We have to choose. That is a choice that each one of us has to make—a choice of either bowing down to the things of this world, which are evil and wrong, or bowing down before the true and the living God.

Satan calls upon people to bow down to pride, lust and many other things.

Money is something that Satan wants us to bow down to. Greed goes all the way through our society. Greed is an idol.

Success is another. The image overlaid with gold, flashing in the sun, is the image erected to success and human glory: “The great golden image which I built,” Nebuchadnezzar said (Cf. Daniel 3:14). He didn’t give God any credit at all. He said, “I built it.” And some of us say that, too: “Look what I’ve done.” “I have built this business.” “I am a self-made man.” “I built this ranch.” “I did this.” “I did that.”

Nebuchadnezzar could destroy the body, but he could not destroy the soul. We have a body, but living inside us is our soul, our spirit. That is the part of us that will live forever. Jesus warned, “Fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell” (Matthew 10:28).

Just like Meshach, Shadrach and Abednego we must follow Christ no matter the cost.

Thought for today...

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 5:16).

In this verse, Jesus is not asking you and I to manufacture our own goodness or strain to be noticed. He is asking us to be a clear mirror that reflects His perfect love. Your daily life is the canvas where people see what God is truly like.

Today, remember that you are a walking billboard for the grace of God. Step out with confidence, knowing your smallest act of obedience can change someone's entire perspective of Heaven

Thought for today…

“Fools”takes no pleasure in understanding but only in expressing their opinions.

"A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself" (Proverbs 18:2).

King Solomon is calling them out here, plain and simple. He is saying a fool doesn't care about learning the truth; they just want to wag their tongue and tell everyone what’s what.

The Lord gave us two ears and one mouth for a reason. In this noisy world, true godly wisdom means slowing down, quitting our formatting of a comeback, and actually listening to the folks around us.

Today, let’s ask the Lord to help us put a guard over our mouths. Let's try to understand before we try to be understood. After all, you can't learn anything new when you're the one doing all the talking.

Thought for today...

Life's journey can be overwhelming, but Jesus provides solace for the weary heart. Bring your burdens to the Lord and lay them at His feet.

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." - (Matthew 11:28)

Thought for day...

Only The Lord Jesus Christ can turn your failures inside out.

Look up and you will find Jesus standing there ready to fix all your faults and failures and give you a new beginning.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
~(2 Corinthians 5:17)
