Today, our parish hosted a fish fry in honor of Father’s Day, following the Divine Liturgy! In addition, we also honored our spiritual father and pastor, Fr. Alexander Cadman, as he prepares for his next assignment in the Diocese of the West. We are so very grateful for his years of pastoral leadership and love he and his family have shown to our parish.

Our parish welcomed another catechumen today! We also, after many weeks of wet weather, were able to finish our grave blessings and proclaim the Resurrection at the cemeteries of Ss Peter and Paul in Patton and St Michael in Irvona.

On this great day of Pentecost, before the celebration of the Divine Liturgy, our parish celebrated the reception of the McDonald family into the Orthodox Church through baptism. Then proceeded the festal Divine Liturgy, with many scenes of joy, a full church, and kneeling together for the first time since Pascha. A wonderful reception was shared by all, with so much to celebrate here in Clearfield County today.

May God bless the newly illuminated servants and handmaidens of God: Thomas (Milton), Maria, Evan, Anna (Laurana), Photini (Clara), Alexander (Julian), as well as their sponsors Nick and Maureen Sidorick, and Raymond and Catherine Mandell.
