Last call - full payment for the 2026 Women's Retreat is due tomorrow, Tuesday, September 1.

If you have been going back and forth on it all week, this is the moment to decide. The Invitation, September 18-20 at Calvin Crest: two nights, five meals you don't cook, campfire conversations, crafts, quiet time with God, and the Talent Show. Check-in is Friday at 4:30 PM. Cedar Lodge $270, Mountain View cabin $240.

If you have never been on a women's retreat before, come this year. You will not be the only new one.

If you have never been on a women's retreat before, this is the year to come. September 18-20 at Calvin Crest, up in the pines above Oakhurst. Two nights, five meals you don't cook, and a weekend with nothing on your list.

Quiet time with God. Crafts. Conversations around the campfire. A walk, or a much-needed nap. And back by popular demand, the Talent Show.

This Sunday. Our Summer Baptism and potluck is Sunday, August 23 at 5 PM at the Parr home. Please note the date, this moved from August 2.

There is still time to sign up to be baptized, just message us. Otherwise come celebrate, share a meal, and cheer on everyone taking this step. Bring a dish to share, a swimsuit, a towel, and a lawn chair.

Who is All for the Family for? Everybody.

Grandparents. College students. Empty nesters. Families with a toddler on each hip. People who have been here forty years, and people who have never walked through the door.

We start back this Wednesday, August 19. Free dinner from 5:30 to 6:15 — bring nothing, we have it covered. Then from 6:30 to 8:00 we split up and dig in: men's discipleship, women's discipleship, youth group, and Awana for kids 3 years old through 6th grade.

That's the whole idea. Share a meal with brothers and sisters in Christ, then spend an hour in the Word with people walking the same road you are — while your kids do the very same thing in their own classes down the hall.

Come as you are, and come hungry.

Awana starts this Wednesday, August 19. Free dinner at 5:30 with All for the Family, then clubs from 6:30 to 8:00 for kids 3 years old through 6th grade: Cubbies, Sparks, and T&T.

There is still room. Register your clubber at gccmadera.com/awana26, $35 each, and volunteers sign up free at the same link. We would love to have you on a team this year.
