Madbury United Church of Christ

Madbury United Church of Christ We welcome you to join us Sunday mornings at 10am. Visit our website at: madburychurch.org Our congregation consists of about 45 active members.

In an ecumenical spirit, we welcome a number of friends who join us regularly for worship and fellowship. Although we are a small church, we believe that we are called to make a difference in our community and beyond. Our local, national and international missions are central to our life as a church. We enjoy a relaxed traditional service with time to greet one another in the Passing of the Peace.

We value the music, the Prayers of the People, and a challenging and inspirational sermon that sustains us throughout the week. We also encourage the congregation, including the children, to participate and contribute to the service, enabling us to express our individual insights and images of God. We believe such sharing enhances our learning and understanding of the many facets of God's greatness.

Remembering the tragedy, pain and sadness of 9/11. People are still grieving and we are still praying for a world where violence and hatred are not the answer. Praying for peace everywhere. For everyone.

🌿 United in Grief 🌿

Grateful the family is supportive of our community event!

Let’s face this tragedy—together. Our community has been shaken by an unthinkable loss. In the face of such heartbreak, we invite you to come together in support, remembrance, and shared strength. Whether you knew the Long family personally or are moved by this tragedy that has taken place in our small community, you are not alone. This is a space to grieve, reflect, light a candle in their memory, and simply be with others to give and receive comfort during this difficult time. Children are welcome.
