Reflection

As I reflected on my forty-year journey, the Father wasn't only teaching me the Word of Righteousness.

He was teaching me His own heart.

Over those decades, He allowed circumstances that repeatedly answered one question:

"Can I trust My Father?"
Every season became another lesson.

Every trial became another classroom.

Every delay became another invitation to trust Him more deeply.

My message is not built only on what I’ve studied.

It is built on what I’ve learned while walking with the Father through real life.

Be blessed and be a blessing.

The Fall Was a Crisis of Trust

The serpent never began by attacking God's power.

He attacked God's character.

He suggested that God was withholding something good.

That God could not be trusted completely.

Once trust was broken, obedience collapsed.

Trust Was the First Relationship

Before Adam obeyed God...

He trusted Him.

Before Adam worked in the garden...

He trusted Him.

Before Adam exercised dominion...

He trusted Him.

Everything God entrusted to humanity rested upon one relationship.

Trust.

Trust made obedience joyful.

Trust made fellowship natural.

Trust made responsibility a privilege instead of a burden.

God has never desired forced obedience.

He has always desired trusting sons and daughters.

The serpent planted one question in Eve's mind:

"Can God really be trusted?"

The moment humanity doubted God's heart, disobedience followed.

From that day until this one, every act of sin has been rooted in the same question.

Will I trust God, or will I trust myself?

The entire journey of discipleship is the Father's patient work of restoring trust.

The Kingdom Community Is a School of Formation

The Church is more than a place of instruction.

It is a community of transformation.

Here we are encouraged.

Corrected.

Refined.

Strengthened.

Loved.

Commissioned.

The Father's goal is not simply informed believers.

It is mature sons and daughters who faithfully represent Jesus Christ.

A Kingdom builder does not merely pass on information.

He reproduces a way of life.

The Word of Righteousness Forms Mature Sons and Daughters

The writer of Hebrews says that the Word of Righteousness belongs to those who are becoming mature.

That maturity is not measured by years in church.

Nor by theological knowledge.

It is measured by a life trained to distinguish good from evil and to choose what pleases the Father.

Righteousness is not simply learned.

It is practiced until it becomes the person's character.

God's Pattern

Moses spent forty years in Egypt learning the wisdom of men.

Then forty years in the wilderness, learning the wisdom of God.

Only then did God send him to deliver Israel.

David was anointed long before he was crowned.

Joseph received the dream long before he received the palace.

Paul spent years being prepared before becoming the apostle to the Gentiles.

And Jesus spent thirty years preparing for three years of public ministry.

The pattern is unmistakable.

Preparation always precedes participation.

What God Wants

The Father does not merely want people who can explain righteousness.

He wants people in whom righteousness has taken root.

Before the Word is proclaimed with authority, it must first transform the one who proclaims it.
