Though he had been ministering in Montezuma since 1995, Pastor Rand had asked the Lord to increase his outreach. In 2005, he received a call from a group of ladies from Southside Baptist Church. These ladies had been listening to him pray on the radio on WJTG. Their pastor was leaving, and they didn’t want to see their church close down. Knowing the power of prayer, Pastor Rand went to Macon and h

ad prayer with these ladies. The Lord gave Pastor Rand the opportunity to shepherd a new flock, and the church doors stayed open under the name of Southside Community Church.
