Do You Like Yourself?

“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
Matthew 22:39, NKJV

One thing that holds us back from seeing changes in our life is when we don’t love who we are. If you’re not happy with the way God made you, there’s a constant battle going on inside—never feeling good enough always feeling wrong, with vague feelings of disapproval. If you don’t learn to like yourself as you are, weaknesses and all, you’ll always feel like you should be better. Added to the problem is that you have to live with you. You can never get away from yourself. If you don’t like yourself, life is going to be miserable.
It’s very powerful when you can say, “I like myself. Yes, I need to improve in some areas. I need to do better. But I’m at peace with who I am right now. I accept myself. I approve myself. I am not a finished product. God is in charge, and He’s still working on me, making me and molding me. It is not just up to me. I’m going to relax and enjoy life while God is in the process of changing me.”

Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You for making me in Your image with gifts, talents, and abilities to enjoy life and accomplish Your will. Help me to love myself, with all my weaknesses and shortcomings and things I wish were different. I declare that I am happy to be who You made me to be. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”✝️❤️🙏🏽🛐

Nothing Lost, Everything Gained

Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him quickly out of the dungeon; and he shaved, changed his clothing, and came to Pharaoh
Genesis 41:14, NKJV

For thirteen long years after Joseph’s brothers betrayed him, he was enslaved, lied about, mistreated, imprisoned, and forgotten. Given Joseph’s environment, the dream that God gave him of leadership and the identity that he was going to do something great could have easily been lost in bitterness. But rather than play the victim, Joseph was faithful to be his best, and the day came when God suddenly turned things around and made him the ruler of Egypt.
We all have opportunities to lose who we really are. You go through a relationship breakup, a job layoff, or a financial setback, and thoughts will tell you, “You’re not valuable. Nobody wants to be around you. You’re nothing but a failure.” People will tell you to be content and make the most of it. Don’t take on that defeated identity and let it change you. What happens to you is not who you are. You’re a masterpiece. You’re made in the image of God and crowned with favor. Keep trusting Him, and you’re going to break out of the dungeon and be brought to the palace.

Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that what so often looks like a setback is really Your hand moving me toward Your purpose. Thank You that what’s wrong is going to push open doors and bring opportunities I could never experience without it. Help me to keep trusting while You work things out. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Where my Women At?????? Behind that preposition “at?” Wherever you may be at this point in your life, know this about your Savior….

He saw the best in you, when everyone else around could only see the worst in you. And get this, He thought you were worth saving, so He came into your life. He thought you were worth keeping, so He cleaned you up inside. He thought you were to die for, so He sacrificed His life, so you could be free.” Free from what? All that could ever bind you up behind that preposition “what”. You have the liberty to “live” in your worth.

Proverbs 31:10.(kjv)

"Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies."

Thanks to Jesus Christ, it is much easier to find virtuous women because they are the saved women. We are all virtuous/saved women as a result of what Jesus Christ did for us and us accepting what He did. He did it (paid it all) because We are invaluable in His eyes, and nothing can change that. We gain our value and validation in God and God alone.

A woman’s worth…..

The real question (problem) is, how valuable is God to you. What’s your eyesight as it relates to Him. It costs us nothing, yet we wont spend a thing (time, talent, treasure, faith) to let our Savior know, we are grateful.

A Saviour’ worth…..

Don’t worry about it….. you can never repay it.

Dear God, I thank you that I do not have to depend on the world in order to find my value. Thank you, Lord, for seeing me as worth the sacrifice. Thank you for loving me and defining me according to your love for me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Enough Is Enough

“I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows. So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey.”
Exodus 3:7–8, NKJV

The Israelites had been in slavery for 400 years. Ten generations had been mistreated, abused, and oppressed, though they’d done nothing wrong. Because the Egyptians had a strong army and weapons, it looked like the Israelites would never be free. But God said, “Enough is enough. You couldn’t do anything about it, but I’m coming down to break the chains, deliver you, and bring you into the Promised Land.”
You may be struggling with something that you can look back and see has been passed down to you through generations of your family—an addiction, depression, poverty, guilt, shame, anxiety, insecurity. God knows the negative things you inherited and the results of being raised in a difficult environment. You’ve carried the weight of what was passed down and borne the consequences of other people’s actions long enough. God is going to deliver you from generational baggage and the unfair things in your family line. It’s your time to be free. You are a slave to nothing. Believe that your release has already happened in the unseen realm and is on the way.

Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that You are a God of justice and You see every negative thing that has been passed down to me. Thank You that the time comes when You say that enough is enough and You break the bondages. I believe that it’s my time to be free, that my release is on the way. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”✝️❤️🙏🏽🛐
