FBC'S Marriage Ministry enjoyed a different twist to "Game Night". There were different events and activities that fostered communication, understanding, and fun. The game of LIFE can be adventurous, especially when you CONNECT 4 life with the right person. Marriage is not a game; expect some elements of TROUBLE, but know how to navigate through them. Don't avoid each other using CHUTES and LADDERS to escape the issues. Say you're SORRY, and continue to fight for each other. Know and respect your spouse in what could trigger him/her. Certain things could prove yo be TABOO; therefore, tread lightly, pray for peace and clarity, then pray for opportunities to communicate calmly. May there be trust between you two to laugh, comfort, and share your feelings. LET'S GET DEEP spiritually, emotionally, socially,...🥰
Always cover each other in prayer, and choose to enjoy each other everyday while life is lifing.

"Thanks" goes to our coordinators Keisha Chante' & Edgar Ray for keeping our get-togethers thought provoking and fun.

We Are Black History! ❤️💛💚🖤

During our devotional service, Deacon Stephen Duval delivered a history lesson of the Negro National Anthem, "Lift Every Voice and Sing" written by James Weldon Johnson. With uplifted voices, the congregation sand this hymn.

Next, out Youth Department of FBC, led by Sisters Marie Jones Duval and Wilma Ingram Mathis, continued presenting the history of our church.

These meaningful lessons we continue to learn about our church amplifies the rich history of 200 hundrend years that we celebrate this year.
