We just finished a powerful Bible Study lesson! Rev. Cleveland Jarrell led us in a lesson titled "Be Prepared for the First Flight," from 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 and Luke 17:26-29.

There are so many reminders in the Bible for us to listen to God's instruction, obey, and live a blessed life so that when He returns, we'll be caught up with Him.

Last night’s 7 Last Words of Christ Service at New Howard Chapel Missionary Baptist Church was nothing short of powerful.

From the opening to the final word, the Spirit moved in a mighty way. Each speaker brought a unique and impactful message that reminded us of the depth of Christ’s sacrifice and His love for us all.

We were blessed to hear from:

Rev. Juanita Hogan – Greater Friendship Baptist Church, Apostle Tamekia Jackson – Global Church, Min. Elesha Scott – New Piney Grove Baptist Church, Rev. Dr. Dominique Nichols – Universal Light Christian Center, Min. Alonzo Howell – Fellowship Temple of the Living God, Rev. Jordan Williams – The Table at First Christian Church, and our very own Pastor Cleveland Jarrell – New Howard Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

This Good Friday service was a reminder that the cross was not the end…it was the beginning of victory.

For tonight's Bible Study, we received a lesson from Rev. Dr. Kedrick Williams titled "You Are Blessed" from Deuteronomy 28:1-4.

The Bible tells us that IF we listen and obey the voice of God, then we will be blessed, regardless of where we are, and all that comes from us will be blessed. Praise God!

Tonight's Bible Study was a treat! Led by Rev. Jarrell, he shared a lesson titled "A Better Way to Pray" from several powerful scriptures.

It's so important for us to remember we no longer have to ask for God to do great things in our lives because it's already done!

Today we were blessed to celebrate the 2nd Associate Pastor Anniversary of Rev. Dr. Kedrick Williams here at New Howard Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

We thank God for two years of faithful service, steady leadership, and dedication to the Word. Rev. Williams continues to serve with humility, integrity, and a genuine heart for God’s people.

We are also grateful for our guest speaker, Rev. Kenneth Rozier of Memorial Baptist Church, who delivered a powerful and timely Word that encouraged and strengthened us all.

It was a beautiful day of worship, fellowship, and gratitude as we honored God for the great things He has done and will do.

We remain thankful for faithful leadership and excited for what lies ahead.

We kicked off our 2026 Bible Study tonight with a lesson delivered by Rev. Dr. Kedrick Williams titled "A Setup for Success" from Joshua 1:8.

The Book of Joshua gives us a clear game plan for how to prosper: study, meditate, and obey.
