TODAY (September 3) is the on time registration deadline for our 2026 Girls Retreat. Everything you need to register successfully can be found at www.gakidmin.org.

1. All necessary forms are on the Girls Ministries page.

2. Payment for girls and leaders must be paid in full. Payment link is on the Events page.

3. All Adult Verification Forms must be submitted to Rachael ([email protected]) must be fully completed, signed, and submitted today. Any leaders who have already done this for other events does not need to complete another one.

Convoy of Hope through BGMC needs our help for relief efforts in Nepal!

Flash floods in Nepal and China have taken the lives of over 545 people, with 1,500 missing. Rescue efforts are ongoing. Convoy of Hope needs our support.

Use the BGMC project #37721-1 for any individual giving or church offerings you may receive for these efforts.

CHURCH TEAMS UPDATE

If you’re a KidMin Leader attending Church Teams Conference this weekend, our KidMin lunch (11:00-11:50) location has moved. Instead of the Ranger building, we will now be in the old choir room (Room 807) behind the main sanctuary. Grab your lunch and head there for lunch together.

GIRLS RETREAT IS FAST APPROACHING!

Our 2026 Girls Retreat is just around the corner, happening Sept 11-13. This gender specific opportunity for girls will help build faith in them and help them build relationships with each other. Even though it happens at Timberlake, it’s a different experience from Kids Camp. Activities include team competitions, late night laser tag, glow in the dark mini golf, Discovery Chase, Pancakes & Pajamas, swimming, and the GA Plunge.

We are challenging every girl to bring a BGMC offering for Coins for Kids through Girls Ministries. This year’s CFK project is Girls Empowerment through Convoy of Hope.

On time registration deadline is Thursday, September 3. Full payment ($119/person) is due at registration, thus the reason we have made on time deadline later than in years previous. Late registration will incur an additional $25 fee.

All leaders (18 & older) must have a completed and signed Adult Verification Form submitted by Thursday, September 3 (NO EXCEPTIONS). If you have already done this for this year, you do not have to do this again.

It’s no secret that today’s children are faced with identity issues, gender confusion, body image struggles, and external validation more than ever before. Every church should engage in some type of gender specific ministry. Royal Rangers and Girls Ministries are valuable tools and resources available to help develop Godly, confident young men and women.

Here’s the thing: you don’t have to do the full program in order to use these resources. Use the devotions and Bible study lessons apart from merit system. If Wednesday night don’t work for you, find creative ways to provide gender specific opportunities. Here are some suggestions:

1. Small group time on Sundays
2. One Sunday afternoon a month (lunch, devotion, and activities)
3. Adventure days (Saturday or an evening during the week)
4. Occasional opportunities designed to target each group (Mother/daughter tea, Father/Son campout, Spa & Scripture night, Father/Son service projects, etc)
5. A family night with a time for gender specific moments

There are so many creative opportunities you can employ to provide effective gender specific ministry.
