Shalom Macon We're made up of Jews and Christians, who come together to worship the God of Israel Jesus the Messiah was and always will be a Jew.

Formerly Nachamu Ami Messianic Synagogue, Shalom Macon is a growing and diverse congregation focused on living and learning the Bible from a messianic Jewish perspective. SERVICE TIMES:
9:00am - Shacharit (liturgical and mostly in Hebrew) & Torah services
11:00 am - Music & Teaching
1:00 pm - Open-ended Torah study

Shalom Macon is Messianic Jewish teaching about Jesus, the Bible, Israel, and the coming Kingdom of God. It is a community of disciples, both Jews and Christians, who want to move past shallow teaching about the Bible and learn exciting and real ways to live it out in faith and practice. He lived and taught from the Jewish scriptures with a Jewish perspective, and we can learn a lot more about his words and their application for our lives when we see and hear them through Jewish eyes.

Imagine sitting at the Last Supper and hearing Jesus reframe His upcoming ex*****on not as a tragic loss, but as the ultimate turning point in history. Rather than being just another fallen prophet, His death was designed to deliver Israel and the world from covenant exile. Through this moment, He inaugurates a new covenant that offers moral purification, the washing of water, and the fullness of the Holy Spirit. It was an act of profound love meant to forgive even those executing Him. How does understanding the Last Supper this way change how you view communion?

Atonement is bigger than punishment transfer. In the biblical world, atonement includes cleansing, consecration, covenant restoration, access to God, and the defeat of the forces that keep humanity enslaved. Yeshua's blood matters because His life matters. His faithful life was carried into death, vindicated in resurrection, and that resurrection opens the way to the Spirit. This is how the Lamb of God takes away the sin of the world. Has the way you were taught about atonement been too small?

From the covenant at Sinai to the restoration of the l***r, blood served as a divine mechanism to elevate status, grant holy access, and consecrate the chosen community. It was an agent of Metaphysical Transformation. It moves us from death into vibrant, restored life.
