Lord, “You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in Your bottle. You have recorded each one in Your book.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭56‬:‭8‬ ‭NLT‬‬
Hezekiah was one of the kings of Judah who “did right in the sight of the LORD”. He encountered a mortal illness and a mortal enemy in the same year. And yes, he cried many tears. The prophet Isaiah delivered the bad news to Hezekiah and he immediately turned to the LORD God our Healer in prayer.
Not only did he pray, he wept bitterly. Look at his prayer:
Then he turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord, saying, “Remember now, O Lord, I beseech You, how I have walked before You in truth and with a whole heart and have done what is good in Your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly. 2 Kings 20:2-3
Notice that Hezekiah’s prayer asked for remembrance, not necessarily healing. He wanted God to remember his faithfulness if he lived or died.
Before Isaiah even got out of the courtyard of the temple God sent a message through him for Hezekiah.
“Return and say to Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘Thus says the LORD, the God of your father David, “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; behold, I will heal you…”.
Verse 6 goes on to tell us that God added 15 years to Hezekiah’s life. Now that promise was specifically for Hezekiah and we can’t always expect the same result. But here is what we can expect – prayer makes a difference!
“I have heard your prayers and have seen your tears” just touches my heart. So many times when we are in the midst of a crisis, we wonder if God is anywhere around us. But He is – our tears and our prayers touch His heart. Who can know what our prayers have accomplished here on earth? As we daily pray for people in our Church, our families, or even ourselves, and our world, we may have unknowingly extended someone’s life.
Tears are precious to God, so precious that He is storing them up. Can you imagine the God of this universe gently storing up your tears? Lord, You are a compassionate God. That is how much You love and care for us. So we may go ahead and have a good cry. It is good for our soul.
You have taken account of my wanderings; Put my tears in Your bottle. Are they not in Your book? Psalm 56:8
Lord, In Psalm 56:8, You remind us that You are intimately concerned with every aspect of our lives. You don't judge whether our sorrow is "valid." But because of Your compassion, You catch every tear that is shed. It doesn't matter how big or small, trivial or important, the sorrow might be. Thank You, Lord, in Jesus' name I pray.

Lord, we call upon you as our Rock. Do not ignore our pleas, for without your intervention, we will be doomed. Hear our cry for mercy and extend your help to us as we reach out to you. Do not let us be associated with the wicked, who speak kindly but harbor malice. Repay them for their evil deeds and do not let them go unpunished. Praise the Lord, for he has heard our plea. He is our strength and shield, and we trust in him. Our hearts are filled with joy, and we sing praises to him. Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and understand my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Purify my heart so I may speak truth and not falsehood. Set a guard over my mouth, O Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips. Do not let my heart be drawn toward evil, so that I do not take part in wicked deeds along with evildoers; let me not eat their delicacies. Lord, You are the strength of Your people, a fortress of salvation for the chosen ones. Verses express that God is everything to you. Psalm 16:2 says, "I said to the LORD, 'You are my Master! Every good thing I have comes from you.'" Psalm 16:5 states, "You, Lord, are all I have, and you give me all I need." Psalm 119:57 also declares, "Lord, you are everything I need."

Save and bless your people, and be their shepherd forever.
Psalm 119:57: "Lord, you are everything I need. I have promised to obey your words."
Philippians 4:13: "I can do all this through him who gives me strength."
Philippians 4:19: "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus."
Psalm 68:19: "Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our yokes."
May we stand together in the word of the Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Lord, continue to teach us through Your grace. Help us deny ungodliness and worldly desires. Shape our character, renew our minds, and conform us to the image of Christ. Let Your grace be evident in our thoughts, words, actions, and relationships. May we grow daily in faith, wisdom, holiness, and love.
Thank You that Your grace not only saves us but also sustains us, teaches us, strengthens us, and transforms us. May we never take Your grace for granted, but may we continually walk in gratitude and obedience before You.
Paul declared to us by the power of the Holy Spirit “I, therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” Ephesians 4:1-3
God, help the church, the body of Christ to walk in a manner worthy of the calling You have given us. Please help us in all our interactions with one another to have humble and gentle hearts. Grant us patience for one another, bearing with one another in love. Grant the Body of Christ unity. May we walk humbly in the Holy Spirit. Lord, allowing You to show us our wrongs. Sovereign LORD, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power with an outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for You. We will sing of Your strength, in the morning we will sing of Your love; You are our fortress, our refuge in times of trouble. For the LORD our God is the one who goes with us to fight for us against our enemies to give us victory.” The LORD is our strength and our "defense; he has become our salvation. He is our God, and we will praise him, our Father’s God, and exalt You.
Lord, we maintain our hope in You and we hold onto the assurance that what we are praying for is already accomplished in the name of Jesus. Your Word promises “No good thing does He withhold from those that walk uprightly” (Psalm 84:11). We wait upon You for Your definition of the “good thing” You will not withhold from us. As David prayed in Psalm 18:1: “I love You, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” You are our guide, the joy of our hearts, the author of our hope, and the object of our love. We come seeking refreshment and peace. Lord, help us to live a life of deep intimacy with you; Through reading Your Word of worship, and prayer. A lifestyle of holiness and righteousness. A lifestyle of total dependency on You. Living moment by moment in step with Your will and ways through the power of the Holy Spirit. Show us Your mercy, relieve our fears and anxieties, and grant us a quiet mind and an expectant heart, that by the assurance of Your presence, we may learn to abide in You, who is our Lord, our God, and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Lord, I praise You that Your hands made me and fashioned me; Give me understanding, that we may learn Your commandments. We are Your servants; give us understanding, that we may know Your testimonies. Open our eyes, that we may behold Wonderful things from Your law.
Make us understand the way of Your precepts so that we will meditate on Your wonders.
Give us understanding, that we may observe Your law And keep it with all our heart. Let our cry come before You, O Lord; Give us understanding according to Your word.
Lord, do to us as You did to Your discipline. You opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, but as it is written,
They who had no news of You shall see, And they who have not heard shall understand.” This has come to us, just as in all the world it is constantly bearing fruit and increasing, even as it has been doing in us also since the day we heard of it and understood the grace of God in truth;
Lord, Ezekiel 12:3 says, therefore, son of man, prepare for yourself baggage for exile and go into exile by day in their sight; even go into exile from your place to another place in their sight. Perhaps they will understand, though they are a rebellious house. But as it is written,
“They who had no news of Him shall see,
And they who have not heard shall understand.”
Lord, that which has come to us, just as in all the world, also it is constantly bearing fruit and increasing, even as it has been doing in us also since the day we heard of it and understood the grace of God in truth;
The Old Testament views truth as an essential quality of God, signifying His reliability, dependability, and faithfulness. Derived from this is the concept of truth as a fact or state with unalienable validity or stability, and therefore one that must be accepted. As applied to man, truth meant that the individual was consistent in His actions and that he confirmed God’s will, as revealed in the law. Although the New Testament concept of truth is of truth closer to our modern view, truth is more than something to be done. The word is often used as an equivalent to Christianity or the revelation of God in Christ. Acceptance and dedication to this truth equip men for fellowship with one another and acceptance of Christ. “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” This is the result of abiding in the word of Jesus. We prove ourselves to be His disciples, and we know the truth, and God works His freedom in our lives through His truth. The freedom Jesus spoke of doesn’t come from just an academic pursuit of truth in general, but from abiding in His word and being His disciple. Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore, whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise for the same. For he is God's minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God's minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. Therefore, you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience's sake. Because of this, you also pay taxes, for they are God's ministers attending continually to this very thing. Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.
Lord, thank there is nothing like the freedom we can have in You. No money can buy it, no status can obtain it, no work can earn it, and nothing can match it. Tragically, not every Christian experiences this freedom, which can never be found except by abiding by Your word and being Your disciple. In Jesus’ name, we pray.

Father, thank You that Your faithfulness never changes. When our hearts are weary and our understanding is limited, help us remember Your promises. Teach us to recall Your goodness in every season and to trust You even when we cannot see the outcome. Thank You that Your mercies are new every morning and that Your compassions never fail. Strengthen our faith, guard us from discouragement, and remind us daily that You are working all things together for Your glory and our good. Great is Your faithfulness, O Lord.
Lord, we exalt You for the healing and strength of Your people. Father, we express our gratitude that... You sent Your Son into the world to bring us life in the fullness and life for eternity. Thank you for partaking in Christ's resurrection life. Christ is alive in us, the hope of glory, and His Spirit dwells deeply in our being. We receive Your healing, and we receive the same power that raised Christ from the grave, that we might attain Your life, and we receive Your strength. As many as received You, to them You gave power to become the sons of God, to those who believe in Your name. Thanks for empowering us over all unclean spirits and washing us through the power of Your blood to cast out all evil spirits and to heal all kinds of sickness and all manner of disease. "For we are persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." "This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Save now, I pray, O Lord; I pray, send now prosperity. Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! We have blessed You from the house of the Lord." - Psalms 118:24-26. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. The statement "we are his masterpiece" is a powerful and uplifting phrase, often used to convey the idea that God has created us for a specific purpose and that we are uniquely valuable.

The Scriptures repeatedly testify that your faithfulness is not dependent upon our circumstances. You remains faithful because it is your nature. As Paul wrote:
“If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.” (2 Timothy 2:13)
Throughout Scripture, You demonstrated Your faithfulness:

* To Noah, you preserving him through the flood.
* To Abraham, you fulfilling the promise of a son.
* To Joseph, you raising him from the prison to the palace.
* To Moses, you delivering Israel from Egypt.
* To Daniel, shutting the mouths of lions.
* To the disciples, empowering them through the Holy Spirit.
* To us, providing salvation through Jesus Christ.

What makes Lamentations 3 so powerful is that these words were written amid devastation. Jerusalem had fallen, yet Jeremiah could still declare:
“Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:22-23)

Every sunrise is a reminder that you has not abandoned your people. Your mercy is fresh, your grace is sufficient, and your promises remain sure.
What promise has God kept for us?
Many believers can testify that God has kept His promise:

* Never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5).
* Supply our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
* Give peace in the midst of trouble (John 14:27).
* Work all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
* Grant strength when we are weak (Isaiah 40:31).
* Forgive and cleanse those who come to Him (1 John 1:9).

When feelings suggest that God is distant, Your Word reminds us that you are near. When circumstances seem uncertain, Your faithfulness remains certain. The same God who guided Moses, protected Daniel, and raised Christ from the dead is the same God who watches over us, His children today.
We give thank to the Lord our creator and our deliver.
