Apostle Bobby J. Banks, Sr.
Apostle Bobby J. Banks, Sr. is the founder and Overseer of Word of Praise Ministries, Inc. He is also CEO and founder of Community Outreach and Youth Development Services, which are both located in the city of Macon, GA. Apostle Banks is a regional pioneer of the Apostolic reformation and restoration of the church to its original and rightful place of truth, character, and integrity. He is also an equipper of the saints who not only teaches and instructs, but shows them how to walk in the anointing that God has placed upon their life.
Apostle Banks is a conference host, speaker and also a teacher whose ministry is both national and international. He is the husband of Prophetess Jeffrey A. Banks, Co-Founder of Word of Praise Ministries. Together they are the parents of five children and three grandchildren. Apostle Banks strongly believes that it is through by the teaching of the Apostle’s Doctrine that the Body of Christ will be well equipped and established in Christ.
Ultimately, the Body will be able to stand firmly on and in the “Five Fold Ministry” as the God appointed “foundational” make up as described by the Apostle Paul in 1 Cor. 12:28 (“And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.”) and Eph. 4:11 (“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;”).
Apostle Banks’ desire is to see the Kingdom of God advanced through by the teaching, impartation into, training, and releasing of disciples into the earth to fulfill the Apostolic Commission given by Jesus Christ. He said, ”Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Matthew 28:19-20)
