You never know what will happen on a Sunday at Martha Bowman! This week, for a sermon illustration, Brooks read a short children’s book. There may not have been any kids our 8:30am service but that didn’t stop Berta from embracing her inner child! Without hesitation she jumped up on stage to hear a story. She is one of our most long standing members and we are so thankful for all the ways she serves the church!

Did you know, this past Sunday we were only a few moments from worshipping without any electricity in our building? Even without electricity to give us lights, microphones, air-conditioning (!!!), or wi-fi for our livestream, we knew that the power and presence of the Holy Spirit was going to be present. This Sunday, we do not anticipate any issues with our electricity, but we are even more confident that the Spirit will do what he always does, lead us to Jesus. We hope you will join us!
