5-24-26. Nothing like a hot fourth Sunday. The humidity must’ve been 152%. You could literally sweat just standing there. But inside the gym with a lot of air moving it actually felt good. Made that hot breakfast taste a whole lot better. At least 130 people thought so. Had a great group of Volunteers this morning. They were able to get all the food done and ready to serve before 8 o’clock. Everything is done in the name of Jesus. The one that is the same yesterday today and forever.

5-10-26. Happy Mother’s Day. We started off a little foggy, but our future was bright. Diane had prepared a lovely word of service and wonderful gifts for the mothers in our group. They were reminded of how powerful a mother‘s prayer is. Even to this day, your mama‘s prayers are being fulfilled. Jesus loved his mama too. And on his dying on the cross, he took care of his mother, as Jesus will take care of us. Jesus the same yesterday today and forever.

4-19-26. So I’m thinking wow it’s really warm this morning. I prepped the kitchen and got everything ready for,our Mikado Men’s team to come in and serve breakfast this morning. . I guess it was about 7:45 AM when a great wind came up. We thought we were gonna get a little rain. But the temperature went from 66° to 52° in about 15 minutes. All of a sudden everybody was freezing. This whole week leading up to the Breakfast has reminded me over and over again how quickly things can change. However I know one thing that never changes. His name is Jesus. He’s the same yesterday today and forever.

3-29-26. The last Sunday in March. It was a beautiful bright morning. It felt a little cool, but it warmed up in the gym when all the people gathered. It was also palm Sunday. We celebrated Jesus triumphant entry into our lives. It was also Downtown Macon Rotary day. The Rotary club crew came in and cooked a marvelous breakfast. It started off like the last 1,019 Sundays. Welcome in the name of Jesus, there is no other name I know by which men must be saved. HE is the same yesterday today and forever.

3-15-16. What a beautiful morning it’s hard to believe that this time tomorrow it will be freezing. But that’s crazy Georgia weather. We pray that it doesn’t get so cold that it would kill our peach crops. The Mikado Baptist Church men came today.. They made a wonderful breakfast. Eggs, grits, sausage, toast, pancakes, orange juice, or coffee. At scrambled eggs we call that the $12 waffle House special. I know of 103 people that would agree. This morning we spoke about a Christian façade. It’s not about how you act when you’re at the Breakfast but how you act when you’re at home do you put on your façade and come up to the church and pretend to be a Christian? What would we do if we didn’t have Jesus? Thank God, we’ll never know. Because HE is the same yesterday today and forever.

2-8-26 Its a new month and a couple weeks since I posted anything. It has been so cold we spent extra trying to warm the gym. Almost impossible to move the meter to the plus. Last week it was 18* and as hard as we tried we got it up to 24* So we boxes everything and
handed out to go plates. This week it was a little warmer and we sat down.
Enjoy the pictures. Always done in the name of Jesus. The same yesterday today and forever.

12-21-25. Brrrr. We got the temp up to barely bearable. What a beautiful morning for a hot breakfast prepared by the Mikado Baptist men. This morning‘s message was “what kind of love would send a baby to die for us.” Lots of kids this morning. And all the women received some Diane love with bags of goodies. Our scripture reminded us when Jesus said they would know you because you love one another. We had a bit of bad luck or bad news this morning when we heard the death of Angela Hester. . She had been coming to the Breakfast for years. And over the years we saw great decline in her health. She was nearly blind and partially deaf. And I’m sure that led to the accident where she was hit by a car on Broadway, Please keep her family in your prayers. Somewhere a family weeps. It reminds us that this time of year many people face of Christmas for the first time missing a loved one, but I take hope, knowing that Jesus loves us. HE is the same yesterday today and forever.

12-14-25. It was warmer when we started than when we left. Lots of new folks coming thru. Diane changed the table settings to holiday/Christmas settings.
I’m so glad we have her, if it were me only they would be plain tables. Christmas is around the corner. Our messages morning was about joy. The joy is Jesus and HIS coming to us as a baby. We celebrate HIM because HE is the same yesterday today and forever. 🎄
