CBFGA Welcomes Ron McClung as New Associate Coordinator

Since the beginning of CBFGA, our strength has been rooted in relationships with churches and ministers across our state. As a longtime pastor and participant in CBFGA, Ron brings a deep understanding of congregational life, a genuine care for ministers, and a commitment to the local church. I am grateful to welcome him as our Associate Coordinator and look forward to the ways he will strengthen those relationships and help CBFGA serve churches, ministers, and lay leaders as a part of this team.

During the service, the congregation presented a generous $5,000 gift to support the ministries of Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Georgia. The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Georgia stands with our CBF churches and partners in our conviction that God calls women and men equally into all areas of church leadership.

“God equally calls women and men to all places of leadership in the church, including preaching, pastoral leadership and as senior pastor.”

As we prepare to gather for 2026 General Assembly next week in Jacksonville, CBF Executive Coordinator Paul Baxley reaffirms our commitment to the Fellowship since its beginning 35 years ago: God calls and gifts women and men alike for ministry leadership.
