This past Sunday, we were challenged with a powerful message: “Embracing the Cross of Jesus.” ✝️
In a culture that often seeks comfort, convenience, and personal success, we were reminded that true Christianity is not about getting everything we want. It is about surrendering to the will of God, even when the journey is difficult.
Through 1 Peter 2:4-8, we learned that Jesus is the Living Stone. For some, He is a firm foundation. For others, He becomes a stumbling stone because following Him requires sacrifice, obedience, and transformation.
One of the most impactful reminders from the message was this: God’s “no” is not rejection, and His delays are not failure. Many times, the process we try to avoid is the very thing God uses to prepare us for the purpose He has called us to fulfill.
True discipleship requires us to deny ourselves, put aside selfish ambition, overcome the battles of the mind, and embrace God’s will above our own desires. The cross was never meant to be comfortable, but it will always lead us closer to Christ.
As believers, let us stop pursuing a comfortable Christianity and start pursuing the heart of God. His purpose is greater than our plans, and His will is always worth following.
🔥 Join us tomorrow night at 8 PM for our Night of Revival as we continue seeking the presence of God, growing in His Word, and being transformed into true disciples of Jesus Christ. We can’t wait to worship with you!
