More of our orders are coming in! We have more alphabet/number pop its and tons of random charms to make our own seek and find bags! We also are planning to make mini communication boards that will be on lanyards for church volunteers that we will add to the kits. Time to get to work!

Good read!

Studies show that children with “invisible” disabilities are the least likely to attend church, and many parents indicate that their neurodivergent children have been excluded at church.

One parent argues that the church needs a culture shift.

She writes, “Inclusion begins with recognizing that every person, regardless of ability, is created in the image of God and has gifts to offer the church community.”

In each kit we put a folder of resources of other disability ministries, some in Georgia and some beyond that are available throughout the country. We also talk about why we have each item in the kit and how they help. What information do you think is important to add?
