On Sunday Jacqueline Po***ck ably led Morning Prayer and gave an emphatic homily. Lisa Anne Allyn read the lessons. We also had to say goodbye to Helena Iocab, who has played her violin for us for the past year. She is starting a Masters program at the University of Arizona. We wish her well.

At the beginning of today,'s service, the group said a birthday prayer for Janna Haworth. She led Morning Prayer and gave a homily based on the lessons. Those lessons were read by Autumn Chapin

This afternoon Rev. Youngshim Mason offered Holy Eucharist and gave a relevant homily based on Jesus parable of the wheat and weeds from the Gospel of Matthew. Lisa Anne Allyn read the lessons and assisted with Eucharist.

Happy Birthday to Tom DePauw, an active member of our church. He often reads the lessons for the service and occasionally leads Morning Prayer. In addition, Tom has been a member of the Bishop's Committee for many years.

Yesterday we welcomed Rev. Don Frye, guest priest, who sgain gave a relevant homily based on the readings as well as offering Holy Eucharist. Tom DePauw read the lessons while we also said a birthday prayer for him.
