Mission Goal #3: Wells from Heifer International. Have you ever realized how lucky we are to have safe, clean drinking water with just a turn of the faucet? As we look to our international neighbors, the lack of safe drinking water is a major issue. Goal 3 is to fund 2 Gifts of Water for Life for solar-powered wells that will bring life-sustaining water right to families’ own backyards through Heifer International. Check it out at heifer.org. 2022 Mission Goal #3: Sleep In Heavenly Peace. This is a national organization that believes that a bed is basic need and that all children deserve a safe, comfortable place to lay their heads. Check them out at shpbeds.org. We are fortunate to have a local chapter in nearby Afton,IA. Their motto: “No kid sleeps on the floor in our town!” As of 1/16/22, this chapter, which just formed in April 2021, has provided beds to 43 children from 19 families! Our goal is to fund 2 beds, complete with mattresses, pillows, and all bedding. This will provide a safe, warm place for 4 children to lay their heads at night. Want to help? Just message us!
