We are a single congregation, but we are both United Methodist and Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians. The Church of the Straits is the only mainline Protestant church in Mackinaw City. While we are one, single congregation, we support and are supported by both The United Methodist Church and the Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians Church. We are a body of people committed to Chri

stian unity under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our congregation is made up of people from all different denominations. And because Mackinaw City is a diverse town, we're made up of people from all different backgrounds as well. We believe that God is doing a good thing with and through The Church of the Straits.
