Macfarlan Community Church is a church birthed out of vision. Many years ago, several families in the Macfarlan community saw a need for a church in this area. Bought and raised at Cario, WV, what was then, Egypt Presbyterian Church and transported by the Calico Railroad, to Macfarlan, and was reconstructed on its present sight. It was dedicated as Macfarlan Presbyterian Church, in the spring o

f 1928...

"To the Glory of God, our Father, by whose favor we have built this house. To the honor of Jesus, the Christ, the Son of the Living God, our Lord and Savior. To the Praise of the Holy Spirit, the source of life and light." Later slated to be closed down, the community raised the funds to purchase the church late in 1974 and in 1975, it was rededicated as Macfarlan Community Church, with the desire to continue to bring the message of the Gospel to a needy community, and it has stayed true to that call. Throughout the years it has underwent some amazing transformations, with new additions, being added on that has served as fellowship halls and classrooms, and now is undergoing the process of erecting a brand new sanctuary fashioned after the original, to continue the vision of those that have went on before us, hopefully for many years to come, or until the Lord calls all His Faithful home.

We hope that all that watched the Live Stream were ministered to through our Spring Revival @ Macfarlan Community Church. As I sit in my study thinking about this past week, I stand amazed of how God brought together many members of various backgrounds to come, worship and experience the presence of the Almighty in our meetings. People received words that challenged them to go on to the deeper things that Jesus has for them. Others received conformation on what God was calling them to do. And the body received a fresh breath of the Holy Spirit that our membership desperately needed.
We want to thank God first and foremost for the visitation we encountered throughout the week from God pouring out through his vessels, Marshall Frasier and Family, Nathan Minney and his wife, Caleb Perkins Ministries CalebAbby Perkins for praying and seeking the Lord and being obedient to do as the Lord directed. Very good friends of ours Brother JD and Sister Rebecca of J.D. Ray Family Ministries and my ministry partner Malcolm Henry and all the others that came to pour into us.
This was not just one ministry working and being exalted, but this was a picture if you will, of one body flowing together through the aide of the Holy Ghost, and God rekindling the Fire on the altar of our hearts once again.
We used to sing a chorus many years ago that said this..."you better look out satan look out, you better look out satan look out, For I come to you in the name of the Lord, so look out Satan look out" All Praise and Glory and Honor to Our Lord and coming KING.
