What denomination are you? We are a Non-Denominational church. We have no affiliations with any of the usual denominations or even those “Non-Denominational” churches that have become one. It is not that we are opposed to them in a general sense but we d
o believe that many of them have left the real reason for the church and have embraced and placed religious traditions in a place above the Word of God, the Bible. So you believe the Bible is God's Word? It is my one string guitar, “read your Bibles, read your Bibles, read your Bibles”. The Bible is still the number one best seller in the world and it is set apart from every other religious work in that God has spoken the future as though it has already happened. The Word of God is absolutely true. It is God's “love letter” to us. Folks are dying to know the truth, about themselves, why am I here, why is the world like it is, where will I go when I die, is there really a God and does He really love me? All of these questions are answered in the Bible. What about Worship? We believe worship to be an important part of the church service. Our worship is led with a guitar right now. We sing both contemporary songs and the old hymns, usually 4 songs at the beginning of each service. We believe that worship is not singing songs to make us feel good or to give us the “warm fuzzys” but rather to sing praises to God and worship Him because He is worthy of our praise!! So you may have more questions, the Bible has the answers. I do believe that much of the Church has lost it's way and that instead of the Church influencing society that now society has to much influence in the church. If you are “looking” for a church to call home there are many. We are small but I have seen God do very awesome things with few. I make no apologies for the Word of God. If you are looking for the “perfect” Church you will never find it. But if you are wanting a church to call home, that has plain vanilla folks in it that just want to worship Jesus and be real in their relationship with Him then come and check it out. If you come and find that it is just not what you are “looking” for then we can recommend other churches for you. God Bless,
