What if the greatest thing keeping us from God’s next season isn’t what’s ahead of us—but what we’re still holding onto?

In Luke 9:57–62, Jesus makes one of the most challenging statements in Scripture:

“Let the dead bury their own dead… but you, follow Me.”

This message explores what Jesus was really saying and challenges us to stop looking for life in things that can never truly satisfy. Whether it’s past hurts, broken dreams, old seasons, or misplaced hopes, we’re often tempted to cling to what no longer has life.

Jesus’ invitation is simple:

“Follow Me.”

Because true life isn’t found in what we’ve lost—it’s found in the One who is the Resurrection and the Life.
