From today's message:
Plan to Restore the Table
• Commit 6 days (every day for 6 days, 2 days a week for 3 weeks, 3 days a week for two weeks)
• Schedule family meal times and ask all the family members who are in the home to be at the table at that time.
• Dad or in single-parent homes, the Parent - pray and ask God to bless each person around the table, ask God to allow you never to take these times for granted, thank Him that you can be together, and thank Him for the food.
• Mobile devices, TVs, and all electronic devices are away from you and in silent or airplane mode until the meal is done.
• Refer to restorethetable.org to create spiritual and meaningful conversation around the table. Have fun. Understand that if you have never done this before, it will feel a little uncomfortable.
• Everyone stays at the table until the day's discussion is done.
• Dad, or in single-parent homes, the Parent, - pray for each of the members of your family and thank Him for your time together.
