What a wonderful evening at our Hymn Sing event this past Sunday! From gathering around the campfire and enjoying s’mores to lifting our voices in songs of praise, it was a beautiful reminder of the joy that comes from worshiping together. Familiar hymns, warm hearts, and sweet fellowship made for a night to remember. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening so special! ❤

Realizing that we all have influence others in some way, we hope everyone got the takeaways Pastor Mark encouraged us to consider from Psalm 2:7–12 as we talked about Godly leadership. But just in case you didn’t get them all down, we’ve got you covered!

1. Recognize you are not fully in charge.
2. God’s purposes are higher and greater than our own.
3. Take righteousness and justice seriously.
4. Seek wisdom and accept instruction.
5. Serve God with humility and reverence.
6. Honor Jesus and take refuge in Him

May we arrive to be influencers and leaders that reflect and direct others to Christ, remembering we are !

As we continue in our “The Songs We Pray” series, Pastor Mark concluded Psalm 2 with verses 7–12, reminding us that Jesus is the promised King whose reign will never be shaken. Until gods return, we are invited to find our wisdom in Him and live in light of His coming Kingdom.

What does it look like to live under the reign of our King? It means allowing God to shape us, even when it challenges us. It looks like honoring Jesus not just with words, but with our everyday lives. We can rejoice because He is King and approach Him with reverence because He is holy. Let us not forget that as we walk with Him, we have the opportunity and responsibility to point the people He places around us to Jesus.

Father, give us hearts that are willing to be shaped by You. Help us rejoice in Your reign, honor You in the way we live, and faithfully point others to Jesus. In Your name we pray. Amen.
