In this season, OMC is being reminded again and again that the church is not a building we attend—it is the people of God. We are the church! Wherever we go, we carry the name of Christ and represent His Body.

Yesterday, Pastor Mark asked a question that challenges each of us to consider the responsibility we carry as the church. When we consider our behavior, our interactions, and even our online presence, is it a good representation of the greater Church? May we live in a way that reflects the unity, love, grace, and truth of the One we belong to.

Father, help us to represent You well in every conversation, interaction, and even every post. May our lives point others to Christ and strengthen the witness of Your Church. I. Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

How sweet it is to worship, pray, and grow together as the Body of Christ. As we continue in our Pray First series, Pastor Mark reminded us through Nehemiah 11 that God’s people were made up of many groups serving different roles, yet all were committed to the good of the entire community. Ephesians 2:19-22 echoes this truth—we are being built together into God’s dwelling place. May we be mindful of those to our right and left, embracing the diversity within the Body of Christ and strengthening the community God has called us to build together.

Father, thank You for making us one family in Christ. Help us to love, serve, and value one another as we seek the good of Your people. May Your presence dwell richly among us as we walk together in unity and purpose. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

As building repairs continue at OMC, we’re excited to partner with Mt. Harmony Baptist Church for VBS this year! Join us on June 7-11 as our kiddos discover that Jesus is the Light of the World...lighting our path, giving us hope, and showing us the way in every season. Family Dinner will be served each night at 5:45pm, and we will kick off VBS at 6:30pm!
