Success has a way of introducing you to a lot of people, but Scripture reminds us to pay attention to the people who help us stay grounded. David had Jonathan, someone who strengthened his faith in God when life became complicated, and the spotlight meant very little.

As you grow, build, and accomplish, keep people close who care about your soul more than your résumé. The right relationships will remind you who you are in Christ. 💙

It is possible for accomplishments to be enjoyed, opportunities to be celebrated, and resources to be stewarded well, while Jesus remains the One who gives your life its deepest sense of peace and wholeness.

Paul calls Him “the Lord of peace” in 2 Thessalonians 3:16 because peace is found in a Person. Build your life close to Jesus, and enjoy every blessing from a heart that already knows where its truest satisfaction is found.🙏🏾

Romans 12:15 tells us to rejoice with those who rejoice, and that gets a whole lot easier when you know God is writing your story too. ❤️
