💀🎹 We’ve hired a new musician at First Methodist Mabank!

Never calls in sick, and has been dying to join the music ministry. 😂

We needed someone to raise the spirits… so we hired one! 👻🎃

Happy Early Halloween from our church family to yours!

Today, October 17, our district churches came together with servant hearts and joyful hands filling 80 Flood Buckets for families recovering from disaster. What a blessing to witness so many people working side‑by‑side in Christ’s love.

A huge thank you to every volunteer, Lay Leader, and Pastor who showed up, stepped in, and helped make this mission day a wonderful success. Your generosity, teamwork, and willingness to serve truly made a difference. Last but definitely not least, thank you to Como Methodist Church for hosting this event. Together we are stronger!

If you took pictures at the event, please add them to this post.

Congratulations to Re*****on Ahrens on receiving his Eagle Award this afternoon. Well done to the whole family!

❤️ 125 Years of Faith. A Legacy of Love. A Church Family Through the Generations.

For 125 years, First Methodist Church of Mabank has been more than a building. It has been a place where faith has grown, generations have gathered, prayers have been lifted, and memories have been made.

Every photograph, every keepsake, and every piece of our history tells a story of the people who came before us and the faith they passed down. As we look back on where we’ve been, we give thanks for the foundation that brought us here and look forward to all that God still has in store.

125 years behind us. A lifetime of faith ahead. ✨

A beautiful moment of faith, love, and legacy. 🤍✝️

This past Sunday, we had the blessing of witnessing a father and son take this special step of faith together through baptism. What a powerful reminder that faith is not only something we live out, but something we pass down to the next generation.

May their walk with Christ continue to grow stronger together, and may this moment be one they cherish for years to come.

“ As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” — Joshua 24:15

What a blessing to celebrate moments like these as a church family! 🤍
