The Kingdom Kids staff is gearing up for our Fall session of Kingdom Kids. Kingdom Kids is open to children in the Lyons area in Grades 1 - 4. Homeschool children are also welcome. However, please note, space is limited. Contact me on Messenger if you are interested in registering your children.

Our Kingdom Kid's Spring session has ended. The children enjoyed a carnival and reviewed what they have learned about Jesus Sermon on the Mount and the Beatitudes. Our Fall and Spring session dates will be announced when the Lyons Central School District releases the academic calendar for 2025/2026.

Good morning parents of Kingdom Kids. If you want to follow along with what your children are learning in the spring semester of Kingdom Kids, check out https://www.youtube.com/. We are using the Bible and her videos to help teach the Beatitudes Jesus taught. We have learned the first two:
Blessed are those who are spiritually needy. The Kingdom of heaven belongs to them.
Blessed are those who are sad. They will be comforted. Next Monday the third beatitude:
Blessed are those who are free of pride. They will be given the earth. These verses come from the NIV Kids' Devotional Bible.

Join Bethy in learning about the Bible as she shares quick object lessons and conversation starters for kids. Her videos are a great tool for parents, Sunday school teachers, and ministry leaders that need a boost for their Bible lessons.

The Spring session of Kingdom Kids will begin on Monday, March 10th. This program is open to children in grades 1st - 4th - public school or home school children. We will be learning about Jesus' sermon on the mount and The Beatitudes. Message me if you need a registration packet for your child.

Our Story

What is Kingdom Kids? It is a free Bible based, after school program for children, attending Lyons Elementary School, in grades 1st - 6th. Homeschooling children are also welcome in grades 1-6. Children enjoy: Games, Crafts, Bible Lessons, Stories, Music and Snacks. Why Kingdom Kids? Our mission is to introduce children to Jesus and His Word. Who Sponsors the program? The Lyons United Methodist Church

When? We pick up the children as school is dismissed at 2:40, and walk them across the street to the church. Program begins at 2:40pm and ends 4:50pm. Parents pick up their children at 4:50pm. If your child attends the advantages program at LES, then we will return your children to school at 4:50pm.

Safety Procedure- all doors will be locked during program. If you need to pick up your child early please call or text our attendance personnel. When you arrive to the church please ring the doorbell, and you will be let in.
