We are practicing for our Christmas program on Wednesday evenings. If you would like your child to be involved in learning the songs, please make sure to bring them downstairs on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:00. Ages 3-5th grade welcome to participate!

Parents, if your child went to day camp this week please have them wear their camp shirts to church this Sunday! 🛟

We had so much fun at camp this year! We played on the bouncy house, did some creative crafts, fun games, and learned about how Jesus is our rescuer throughout scripture! He has delivered us from slavery to sin and exile from God! 🛟

Reminder that last week was the last night of Gospel House so there is no church until we start back up in September! I hope everyone has a blessed year and we cannot wait to see everyone September 17th when we return!

The last night of Gospel House is still on tonight! Dinner is available at 6:30 and we will start at 7:00 like normal! Parents are then invited to join us in the sanctuary for our wrap-up worship rally at 7:40, after which we will then dismiss early for fellowship and s'mores in Grace Hall to celebrate the end of the end of the year. We have loved journeying through the Bible with your children to find how God has revealed His character to us, and proven how worthy He is of our love and respect. We look forward to starting Gospel House back up on September 17th (the week after the state fair). Have a blessed summer!

There will be no Gospel House tonight. Last week was our last night of Gospel House for the year. We will return on January 15th!

REMINDER: Today during Gospel House we will be going Christmas caroling! We will walk around the neighborhood singing Christmas carols. When we are all done we will come back and enjoy hot chocolate and cookies! This will be the last time Gospel House will meet for the year and we will start back up in January! If you have not already make sure to sign a permission slip for your child. Permission slips will be available at the church!

The First Baptist Church’s Wednesday Night Program is starting up again TOMORROW! We are so excited about starting back up and I hope to see your child there! If you are able to make it here are a few details and changes to the schedule.

- Last year we called our Wednesday night program “Gospel Adventures” but this year we are changing the name to “Gospel House Kids”!
- We will still be feeding the children from 6:30-7:00 and then starting our program from 7:00-8:00!
- The church is going to be full of people of all ages learning more about God! So while you will still drop your child off in Grace Hall for the food, the program is going to be downstairs. This means when you come to pick up your child at 8:00, you will need to come down and get them in the big room downstairs!
- Please register your child as soon as possible to make sure they get a spot because we are only taking 50 children for the program this year. Even if they can’t make it the first night, still register them and we will look forward to seeing them next time!
- You can drop the registration form off at the daycare office, church office, or with Paige Sherraden
