Our Story

We are a nine year old church in south Snohomish County, Washington. We meet on the second and fourth Saturdays from September through June at Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Lynnwood (except in December when we meet on the 2nd and 3rd Saturdays). Why “Church”? The roots of the word may be significant. Church may come from old English and old Germanic. If so, the word originally meant “circle.” We think of our church as a circle, a community. We come together as a circle. And if the word didn’t originally mean circle, we still come together as a circle.

We embrace Interfaith as a faith. Our faith is that there are many righteous paths to the sacred. Our congregation is made up of people from many paths (Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Islam, Baha’i, Pagan and others). We come together the celebrate the diversity of humanity and to share our paths as we unite in common purpose: actively working for a just world of love, compassion, and community.
